Habitualabortion and Infertility Cases With X Chromosomeaneuploidy

Abstract

Objective: We investigated the effect of X chromosome mosaicism to reproductive performance of women. Material and method: It was studied by standart peripheral blood culture and trypsin-giemsa banding (GTG) method. Also buccal smear examination was done for X chromatin presence. Case 1; A case with IVF failure who referred to our laboratuaries for chromosome analysis, was found 46, XX[97]/47, XXX[2]/49, XXXXX [1]. Case 2; A case with IVF failure who referred to our laboratuaries for chromosome analysis, was found 46, XX[95]/47, XXX[5]. Case 3; A case with habitual abortion referred to our laboratuaries for chromosome analysis, was found 46, XX[85]/47, XXX[15]. Case 4; A case with habitual abortion referred to our laboratuaries for chromosome analysis, was found 46, XX[96]/47, XXX[4]. Case 5; A case with habitual abortion referred to our laboratuaries for chromosome analysis, was found 46, XX[85]/47, XXX[15]. Conclusion: The effect of sex chromosome mosaicism to reproductive performance of women is emphasized with the similar results of five cases we investigated.
