Anlatı Yapıları İçerisinde Karakterin Transmedyatik Dönüşümü Üzerine Bir İnceleme

Abstract

Amaç: Bu çalışmanın ana sorunsalı anlatısal yapılarda karakter ve karakterin nasıl dönüştüğüdür. Çalışmanın amacı ise karakterin anlatısal yapılarda transmedyatik dönüşümü üzerine bir inceleme yapmaktır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda literatüre katkı sağlamak hedeflenmektedir. Yöntem: Çalışmanın ilk bölümünde anlatıbilim, anlatıbilim bileşenleri, hikâye, hikâye oluşturma ilkeleri ve transmedya hikâye anlatıcılığı konularına yer verilmektedir. İkinci bölümde kurmaca karakterlerin bileşenleri, karakterlerin türleri, karakterin ortaya çıkarılma teknikleri ve transmedya hikâye anlatılıcığında karakterin işlevi üzerine değerlendirme yapılmaktadır. Üçüncü bölümde kuramsal çerçeveye uygun olarak seçilen yönteme göre bir analiz yapılmaktadır. Örneklem olarak da 2019 yılı yapımı Joker filmi seçilmiştir. Örneklem seçimi amaca yönelik örneklem olarak belirlenmiştir. Çalışma nitel araştırma yöntemlerine uygun olarak hazırlanmıştır. Film incelenirken anlatı analizini desteklemek için içerik analizi yönteminden faydalanılmaktadır. Çalışmada veri toplama tekniği doküman incelemesi olarak belirlenmiştir. Bulgu ve Sonuç: Sonuç olarak her konunun birbirini tamamladığı ve amaca uygun seçildiği anlaşılmaktadır. Bunu filmin her konu açısından değerlendirilme imkânı açıkça göstermektedir. Transmedyatik dönüşüm konusunda Joker karakterinin gelişimini incelemek çalışmayı amacına ulaştırmaktadır.

Aim: The main problematic of this study is how character and character are transformed in narrative structures. The aim of the study is to make an examination on the transmedia transformation of the character in narrative structures. In line with this purpose, it is aimed to contribute to the literature. Method: In the first part of the study, the subjects of narratology, the components of narratology, the story, the principles of story formation and transmedia storytelling topics are included. In the second part, the components of the fictional characters, the types of the characters, the techniques of revealing the character and the function of the character in transmedia storytelling are evaluated. In the third part, an analysis is made according to the method chosen in accordance with the theoretical framework. The Joker movie of 2019 was chosen as a sample. The sample selection was determined as a purposeful sample. The study was prepared in accordance with qualitative research methods. The content analysis method is used to support the narrative analysis while the movie is being examined. In the study, the data collection technique was determined as document review. Finding and Conclusion: As a result, it is understood that each subject complements each other and is chosen in accordance with the purpose. The possibility of evaluating this from the point of view of each subject of the film clearly shows. Examining the development of the Joker character in transmediatic transformation brings the study to its purpose.
