Liselerde (9.ve10.Sınıf) Seçmeli Olarak Okutulan Hz.Muhammed'in Hayatı Dersinin Öğretmen ve Öğrenci Görüşleri Açısından Değerlendirilmesi (Samsun Örneği)

Abstract

Bu çalışma, Samsun ili Merkez ilçeleri (Atakum, İlkadım, Canik) ile Bafra ve Alaçam ilçelerindeki liselerde öğrenim gören 9. ve 10.sınıf öğrencileri ve Hz. Muhammed'in Hayatı seçmeli dersini okutan Din Kültürü ve Ahlak Bilgisi öğretmenlerinin bu ders ile ilgili görüş ve düşüncelerini, derslerde ne tür problemlerle karşılaştıklarını ve dersle ilgili önerilerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmada betimsel yöntem kullanılmıştır. Çalışma, 27 sorudan oluşan öğrenci anket formunun 2013-2014 eğitim- öğretim yılında Samsun ili Merkez ilçeleri ile Bafra ve Alaçam ilçelerindeki ortaöğretim kurumlarında öğrenim gören 1402 öğrenci tarafından ve 28 sorudan oluşan bir öğretmen anket formunun da aynı ilçelerdeki ortaöğretim kurumlarında görev yapan 65 Din Kültürü ve Ahlak Bilgisi öğretmeni tarafından cevaplandırılması yoluyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Elde edilen verilerden Hz. Muhammed'in Hayatı dersine yönelik öğrenci tutumlarının olumlu olduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca, öğrencilerin bu derse yönelik tutumlarının okul türü, anne-baba eğitim düzeyi, Kuran kursuna devam etme durumu, dersi almaya yönlendiren sebepler, dersin hangi yönden katkı sağlayacağıyla ilgili öğrenci beklentisi, ders öğretmeninin etkisi ve bu dersteki başarı durumu gibi bağımsız değişkenler ile arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu anlaşılmıştır. Öğretmenlerin Hz. Muhammed'in Hayatı dersinin liselerin bütün alanlarında okutulması gereken gerekli bir ders olduğuna, ders kitabının sadeleştirilmesi gerektiğine inandıkları ve ders konularını yeterli görmedikleri anlaşılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçları doğrultusunda, Din Kültürü ve Ahlak Bilgisi dersi ile Hz. Muhammed'in Hayatı dersinin konularının ve içeriklerinin gözden geçirilmesi, müfredat programının geliştirilmesi, öğretmenlerin sevgi temelli, kolaylaştırıcı yaklaşım ve metotlardan yararlanarak ders işlemeleri, Hz. Muhammed'in Hayatı dersi ile ilgili öğretmen kılavuz kitabı hazırlanması ve öğretmenlere uygulamaya dönük, pratik örnekler içeren dersle ilgili hizmet içi eğitimler verilmesi önerilmiştir. This study was aimed to determine the teachers of Religion and Morals Courses who teach 9-10th Classes students, studying at high schools in Bafra and Alaçam and in the central districts of Samsun (Atakum, İlkadım, Canik) and optional subject, Prophet Muhammed's Life. In this study, the descriptive method was used. The study was actualized with a student questionnaire consisting of 27 questions which was answered by 1402 students, studying at secondary schools in Bafra and Alaçam and in the central districts of Samsun and with a teacher questionnaire consisting of 28 questions which was answered by 65 teachers of Religion and Morals working at these districts in 2013-2014 Educational and training year. According to data, the students' attitudes towards the course of Prophet Muhammed's Life are positive. In this research, it is understood that there is a significant relationship between the students' attitude towards the course and the arguments such as the school type, the educational level of the parents, continuing the Quran Course, the reasons for taking the course, the expectations of the students about how useful the course is, the effects of the course teacher, the success at this course. It is understood that the teachers thinks that the course of Prophet Muhammed's Life should be taught in every grade of the high schools; the course book should be simplified and the course subjects aren't sufficient. As a result of the research, it is suggested that the subjects and contents of the course of Religion and Morals Prophet Muhammed's Life should be reviewed; the curriculum should be developed; the teachers should have lessons by using based on-love, adjuvant-approaches and methods; a teacher guide book should be prepared; the in-service training should be given to the teachers, including application-oriented, practical samples related to the course.
