Din Kültürü ve Ahlak Bilgisi Müfredatında P4c'nin Bir Yöntem Olarak Kullanılması

Abstract

Bu çalışma, değerler ve ahlaki gelişim alanında, çocuklar için felsefe (P4C) yöntemini kullanarak uyaranlar ve ders planları hazırlamak amacıyla oluşturulmuştur. P4C (Philosophy for children), Türkçeye 'Çocuklar için felsefe' olarak çevrilen ve 20. yy. ikinci yarısında Amerikalı filozof ve eğitimci Matthew Lipman tarafından geliştirilen bir düşünme ve öğrenme yöntemidir. Değerler ve ahlaki konular çerçevesinde yapılan P4C etkinlikleri, öğrencilerin bu konular üzerine daha derinlikli düşünmelerini, inançlarını içselleştirmelerini ve farklı görüşlere karşı empati kurmalarını katkı sağlamaktadır. Bu yöntemle, din eğitiminin içerisindeki değer ve ahlak eğitimi konuları daha etkili ve anlamlı bir hale getirilmiş olacaktır. Nitel yöntemin kullanıldığı bu çalışmada, doküman incelemesi yöntem olarak tercih edilmiştir. Çalışmada Yeni Maarif Müfredatı öğretim programı içerisinde yer alan DKAB dersi 4.Sınıf 4.Ünite 'Ahlaki Değerlerimiz' ve 6.Sınıf 3.Ünite 'Ahlaki Davranışlar' ünitelerinin içerik çerçeveleri bağlamında on oturumdan oluşan; adalet, doğruluk ve dürüstlük, sabır, sorumluluk, vatanseverlik, adap ve nezaket, merhamet, yardımseverlik (kısa film çalışması), adalet (görsel çalışma) konularının süreç bileşenleri ile sınırlandırılmıştır. Bu anlamda çalışma, müfredat incelemesi ve müfredata uygun içerik oluşturmaya odaklanmıştır. Çalışmada, seçilen uyaranlar P4C uyaranı olarak uygun hale getirilmiş ve içerikler için felsefi sorgulama yöntemleri oluşturulmuştur. Bu felsefi sorular, P4C yöntemine uygun bilgi, anlama, kurgu, sonuç ve çıkarım bekleyen, derinleştirici sorular şeklinde düzenlenmiştir. Çalışma, uyaranın sorgulamak istediği kavramları eleştirel, üretici, işbirlikçi ve özenli bir ortamda, soruşturmayı ve tartışmayı hedeflemiştir. 21. yy. becerilerini kazandırmayı hedeflediği değerlerin, ders planları şeklinde P4C metodu ile işlenmesini konu almaktadır. BecerileriThis study was developed to create stimuli and lesson plans using the Philosophy for Children (P4C) method in the field of values and moral development. P4C (Philosophy for Children), translated into Turkish as 'Çocuklar için felsefe' (Philosophy for Children), is a thinking and learning method developed in the second half of the 20th century by American philosopher and educator Matthew Lipman. P4C activities conducted within the framework of values and ethical issues contribute to students thinking more deeply about these issues, internalising their beliefs, and empathising with different views. With this method, the topics of values and ethics education within religious education will be made more effective and meaningful. In this study, which uses qualitative methods, document analysis was chosen as the method. The study examined the RCMK course in the New Education Curriculum teaching programme, specifically Unit 4, 'Our Moral Values' for Year 4, and Unit 3, 'Moral Behaviour' for Year 6. Unit 'Moral Behaviours' within the New Education Curriculum teaching programme. In this sense, the study focused on curriculum review and creating content appropriate to the curriculum. In the study, the selected stimuli were adapted to be suitable as P4C stimuli, and philosophical inquiry methods were created for the content. These philosophical questions were organised as deepening questions expecting knowledge, understanding, reasoning, conclusions, and inferences appropriate to the P4C method. The study aimed to investigate and discuss the concepts that the stimulus sought to question in a critical, productive, collaborative and thoughtful environment. It addressed the values it aimed to impart as 21st-century skills, processed using the P4C method in the form of lesson plans.
