Abstract
Myelodysplastic syndrome, is a disease with a wide range of prognosis. While the disease can remain asymptomatic, it can also progress to leukemia. Thus, as information about MDS increased, scoring systems that can predict disease prognosis were required and World Health Organization classification-based Prognostic Scoring System (WPSS), International Prognostic Scoring System (IPSS) ve Revised-International Prognostic Scoring Systems were formed. The purpose of this study was to analyze MDS patients retrospectively and to asses prognostic scoring systems.
