Publication: Okul Yöneticileri ve Öğrencilerin Görüşlerine Göre Psikolojik Danışmanlık ve Rehberlik Hizmetlerinin Etkililiğinin Değerlendirilmesi
Abstract
Çağımızın modern eğitim ve öğretim anlayışı psikolojik danışma ve rehberlikten hız alan anlayışı desteklemektedir. Etkililik, ulaşması amaçlanan sonucu elde etme düzeyi ve derecesi olarak açıklanmaktadır. Psikolojik danışma ve rehberlik hizmetlerinin okulda etkili bir biçimde sunulması okullar için oldukça önemlidir. Bu nedenle, okulda bu hizmetlerin etkili yürütülmesinden başlıca sorumlu olan yöneticilerin ve hizmeti alan bireyler olarak öğrencilerin görüşleri önem kazanmaktadır. Bu araştırma, okul yöneticisi ve öğrenci görüşlerine göre resmi okullarda yürütülen psikolojik danışma ve rehberlik hizmetlerinin etkililiğinin belirlenmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bu araştırma genel tarama modellerinden biri olan anlık tarama modeline uygun olarak yapılmıştır. Çalışma evreni 2020 – 2021 eğitim ve öğretim yılında Muş ilinde bulunan 568 okul yöneticisi ve 50,087 öğrenciden oluşmaktadır. Bu araştırma evreninden araştırmaya gönüllü katılmayı kabul eden ve rastgele örnekleme yöntemiyle seçilen 372 okul yöneticisi ve 938 öğrenci araştırmanın örneklemini oluşturmaktadır. Bu araştırmada verileri toplama araçları olarak 'Okul Rehberlik Hizmetleri Ölçeği', 'Öğrenci Ölçeği' ve araştırmacının kendisi tarafından geliştirilen 'Kişisel Bilgi Formu' kullanılmıştır. Katılımcı gruptan verilerin toplanmasından sonra SPSS paket programında verilerin analizi yapılmıştır. Daha sonra ise elde edilen sonuçlar tablolaştırılarak yorumlanmıştır. Okul yöneticilerinin görüşlerine göre okullarında psikolojik danışma, müşavirlik, bireyi tanıma hizmetlerinin yüksek düzeyde; bilgi toplama ve yayma, oryantasyon, izleme, çevre ve veli ilişkileri, yöneltme ve yerleştirme, araştırma ve değerlendirme hizmetlerinin ise orta düzeyde etkin olduğu bulunmuştur. İlkokul ve ortaokul kademesinde öğrenim gören öğrencilerin psikolojik danışma ve rehberlik hizmetlerinden lisede öğrenim gören öğrencilere göre daha yüksek düzeyde yararlandığı görülmüştür. Ayrıca kız öğrencilerin erkek öğrencilere göre psikolojik danışma ve rehberlik hizmetlerinden daha fazla yararlanma eğiliminde olduğu ortaya çıkmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, okul yöneticisi ve öğrencilere göre okullarında sunulan psikolojik danışma ve rehberlik hizmetlerinin etkili olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. The modern education and training understanding of our age supports the understanding that gains momentum from psychological counseling and guidance. Effectiveness is explained as the level and degree of achieving the intended result. Effective delivery of psychological counseling and guidance services is very important for schools. For this reason, the opinions of the administrators who are primarily responsible for the effective execution of these services in the school and the students as individuals who receive the service gain importance. This research was carried out to determine the effectiveness of psychological counseling and guidance services in public schools according to the opinions of the administrators and students. This research was carried out by the instant scan model, which is one of the general screening models. The universe of the study consists of 568 school administrators and 50,087 students in the province of Muş in the 2020-2021 academic year. From the universe of this research, 372 school administrators and 938 students who accepted to participate in the research voluntarily and selected by random sampling method constitute the sample of the research. In this research, the 'School Guidance Services Scale', 'Student Scale' and developed by the researcher himself 'Personal Information Form' were used as tools for collecting data. After collecting data from this group of participants, the data was analyzed in the SPSS program. Afterward, the obtained results were tabulated and interpreted. According to the opinions of school administrators, psychological counseling, counseling and individual recognition services are at a high degree; it was determined that information gathering and dissemination, orientation, monitoring, environment, and parent relations, routing and placement, research, and evaluation services are carried out at a middle level effective. It has been observed that the level of benefiting from psychological counseling and guidance services of primary and secondary school students is higher than that of high school students. In addition, it turns out that female students tend to benefit more from psychological counseling and guidance services than male students. As a result of the research, it was concluded that the psychological counseling and guidance services offered in their schools were effective according to the school administrator and students.
