Publication: Yükseköğretim Öğrencilerinin Üretken Yapay Zeka Tutumları ve Bireysel Girişimcilik Yönelimleri Arasındaki İlişki
Abstract
As a country that progresses towards growth and prosperity and is competitive among the world's largest economies, it is of great importance to investigate the individual orientations and attitudes of students who will graduate from universities that are the locomotive of industry by providing human resources equipped with science, technology and innovative skills and knowledge, especially in the two main areas that direct our age, entrepreneurship and artificial intelligence. Due to the scope and importance addressed, the subject of this research is to evaluate the effect of the attitudes of individuals who will graduate from the faculty of agriculture towards productive artificial intelligence on their orientation to entrepreneurship in terms of demographic characteristics consisting of various dependent and independent variables. In this context, with the data obtained through the survey study and the findings obtained as a result of causal, relational and comparative analyses, it is aimed to understand the perspectives and readiness of young people in terms of entrepreneurship and technology in business life, as well as to be a reference study for the differences with entrepreneurial graduates in future studies and to present suggestions for educational studies in this field. The study showed that individuals' positive attitudes towards generative AI significantly affected their individual entrepreneurial orientations. Gender differences were noted in entrepreneurial orientation. Male students were more prone to opportunistic entrepreneurship, while female students were more prone to creative entrepreneurship. While there were no significant gender differences in the levels of generative AI knowledge in agriculture and individual entrepreneurial orientation, differences were observed in entrepreneurial motivation and innovation barriers. Emotional difficulties were observed in female students, while financial difficulties were observed in male students. These findings indicate that both psychological and technological factors affect entrepreneurial orientation and that specific support strategies are needed to promote innovation and entrepreneurship among demographic characteristics. The results show that students who receive an integrated education with productive artificial intelligence in agriculture can become individual entrepreneurs and add a new area of discovery to the literature.
