dc.description.abstractThe compound 2-bromo-1-(1-hydroxynaphthalen-2-yl)ethanone was investigated. It was found that the compound exhibits normal bond lengths and angles. It was also found that there is an O-H···O intramolecular hydrogen bond and a weak intermolecular C-H···O hydrogen bond. As the compound is a very weak scatterer, the structure was confirmed by infrared spectroscopy and nuclear magnetic resonance data.en_US
