Parion Antik Kentinde Ele Geçen Pişmiş Toprak, Taş, Kemik Dokuma Tezgâh Ağırlıkları ve Ağırşaklar

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın konusunu Parion da yapılan kazı çalışmaları sırasında ele geçen pişmiş toprak, taş, kemik dokuma tezgâh ağırlıkları ve ağırşaklar oluşturmaktadır. İlk olarak dokumacılığın tarihçesi, dokumacılıkta kullanılan aletler ve kullanım yerleri hakkında bilgiler verilmiştir. Çalışma kapsamında 35 dokuma tezgâh ağırlığı, 42 ağırşak ele alınmış olup, eserler öncelikle ölçüleri alınarak dijital yöntemlerle çizilerek tanımlanmış ve formlarının özelliklerine göre tipolojileri oluşturulup, bulundukları tabakada göz önünde bulundurularak benzerleri aracılığıyla tarihlendirilmiştir. Parion Antik Kentinde dokuma aletlerinin üretimi ve dokuma atölyesinin varlığı ile ilgili şu ana kadar herhangi bir arkeolojik veri ele geçmemiş olmakla birlikte, 2009 kazı sezonu çalışmaları itibariyle değerlendirilmeye alınan dokuma tezgâh ağırlıkları ve ağırşakların mevcut verilerle ithal edilerek kullanıldığı söyleyebiliriz. The subject of this study is the terra cotta, stone and bone loom weights and spindle whorls found during the excavations in Parion. First of all, it has been given that the informations about the history of weaving, the tools used in weaving and the usage areas of these tools. Within the scope of the study, 35 loom weights and 42 spindle whorls have been handled, and the works have firstly been identified by drawing them with digital methods, then their typologies have been formed according to the features of their forms, and then they have been dated through contex finds which belong the same layers. Although no archaeological data about the production of weaving tools and the presence of a weaving workshop have been found in the ancient city of Parion, it is thought that the weaving loom weights and spindle whorls were used by importing as of the 2009 excavation season studies.
