Din Kültürü ve Ahlak Bilgisi Dersi Öğretim Programlarında Vatandaşlık Eğitimi

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Türkiye'deki ilk ve ortaöğretim okullarında zorunlu olarak okutulan Din Kültürü ve Ahlak Bilgisi dersi için hazırlanan öğretim programlarında öngörülen ideal vatandaş tasavvuru ele alınmıştır. Çalışma, toplam üç bölümden oluşmuştur. Birinci bölümde vatandaşlığın kuramsal temelleri; vatandaşlık, ulus ve ulusçuluk kavramları, vatandaşlık teorileri ve vatandaşlık bileşenleri ele alınmıştır.İkinci bölümde vatandaşlık eğitimi, vatandaşlık eğitimi ile din eğitimi ilişkisi ve Türkiye'de vatandaşlık eğitiminin tarihsel gelişimi üzerinde durulmuştur. Bu amaçla öncelikle vatandaşlık eğitiminin tarihi, mahiyeti ve amaçları gibi bir takım temel bilgiler verilmiştir. Ardından, vatandaşlık eğitimi ve din eğitimi arasındaki ilişkiler tahlil edilmiştir. Neticede her iki disiplin arasında yakın bir ilişki olduğu; bu ilişkinin, Türkiye özelinde de geçerli olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.Son bölümde ise, vatandaşlık eğitiminin, Din Kültürü ve Ahlak Bilgisi dersi öğretim programlarına yansımaları ele alınmıştır. Bu amaçla programların hem söylemi, hem de öğrenme alanları incelenmiştir. Bu inceleme, ideal vatandaşın nitelikleri açısından yapılmıştır. Neticede bu dersin, Türkiye'de vatandaşlık eğitimi açısından önemli bir ders olduğu sonucuna varılmıştır.

In this study, it was dealt with the vision of ideal citizen in the curricula that prepared for the course of Religious Culture and Knowledge of Ethics taught as a compulsory in all primary and secondary schools in Turkey. The study has consisted of a total of three sections. In the first chapter, the theoretical foundations of citizenship, the concepts of citizenship, nation and nationalism, theories of citizenship and components of citizen are discussed.In the second chapter, it was focused on citizenship education, the relationship between religious education and citizenship education and the historical development of citizenship education in Turkey. For this purpose, it was primarily given the basic information such as the history, the nature and objectives of citizenship education. Then, the relationship between citizenship education and religious education has been analyzed. As a result, it was found a close relationship between both disciplines and concluded that this relationship is also valid in the case of Turkey.In the last chapter, it was discussed reflections of citizenship education in curricula for the course of Religious Culture and Knowledge of Ethics. For this purpose, both the discourse and the learning areas of curricula are investigated. This survey is done in terms of characteristics of the ideal citizen. As a result, it was concluded that this course is an important lesson in terms of citizenship education in Turkey.
