Trabzon ve Bayburt İllerinde Tohumluk Patates (Solanum tuberosum L.) Yumrularında Belirlenen Virüsler

Abstract

Patates üretiminin yapıldığı alanlardaki tohumluk patateslerde enfeksiyon oluşturan virüslerin belirlenmesi amacıyla, 2004 yılında Trabzon ve Bayburt iline bağlı ilçelerden yumru örnekleri toplanmıştır. Alınan örneklerin DAS-ELISA (Double antibody sandwich- enzyme linked immunosorbent assay) yöntemi ile test edilmesi sonucunda bu yumruların Patates X virüsü (PVX) ve Patates Y virüsü (PVY) ile bulaşık olduğu belirlenmiştir. Test edilen toplam 159 yumrunun % 38.9' u PVX, % 1.9' i.PVY ile bulaşık olarak tespit edilmiştir. Test edilen patates yumru örneklerinin hiç birisinin Patates yaprak kıvırcıktık virüsü (PLRV) ile bulaşık olmadığı saptanmıştır.Tuber samples were collected to determine the viruses infecting seed potatoes during surveys in Trabzpn and Bayburt provinces in 2004. The results of ELISA tests revealed that tubers were infected with Potato virus Y (PVY) and Potato virus X (PVX). Of the 159 tubers tested, 38.9% and 1.9% were infected with PVX and PVY, respectively. It was found that none of the tubers were infected with Potato leaf roll virus (PLRV).
