Rize ve Çevresinde Dağılım Gösteren Bitki Zararlısı Ricania Simulans (Walker, 1851) (Hemiptera: Ricanidae)'ın Taksonomik ve Biyolojik Özellikleri

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Rize ili ve çevresinde dağılım gösteren bir tarım zararlısı olan Ricania simulans (Walker, 1851) türünün taksonomik ve biyolojik özelliklerini incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Rize ilinde 11 farklı lokaliteye ait 20 istasyondaki ergin ve nimflerinin populasyon durumları incelenmiş, bu zararlının hasar oluşturduğu tarım ürünleri ve doğal bitki örtüsünde bulunan hasarlı bitki türleri tespit edilmiştir. Çalışma esnasında Rize Merkez, Çayeli, Pazar, Ardeşen, Güneysu, İkizdere, İyidere, Derepazarı, Kalkandere, Hemşin ve Çamlıhemşin lokalitelerinde farklı rakımlarda yer alan istasyonlar çalışma alanı olarak belirlenmiştir. Tarım ürünlerinde ve doğal bitki örtüsünde meydana gelen hasarlar ve hasarların sonuçları belirtilmişir. Çalışma esnasında lokalitelerden toplamda 2986 ergin birey ve 1462 nimf toplanmıştır. Örnek bireylerden nimfler, nimflerin gözlenmeye başlandığı mayıs ve haziran aylarında, ergin bireyler ise temmuz ve ağustos aylarında belirlenen istasyonlardan elde edilmiştir. İstasyonlarda örnekler toplanırken istasyonların konumu, rakımı, sahip olduğu doğal bitki örtüsü ve istasyonlarda yer alan tarım ürünleri dikkate alınmıştır.Toplanan örnek bireyler laboratuvar analizlerine tabi tutulmuş dişi ve erkek bireylerde vücut uzunlukları; boy uzunluğu, baş çevresi ve thorax ölçümleri; verteks, pronotum ve mezonotum uzunlukları her istasyon için ayrı ayrı ölçülmüş ve ortalama değerler tespit edilmiştir. Dişi ve erkek bireylerin vücut kısımları ve genital bölge yapıları incelenmiştir. R. simulans türünün bir yıllık yaşam döngüsü içerisinde bulunan yumurta, nimf ve ergin evreleri incelenmiştir. Erginlerin yumurta bırakma dönemleri, nimflerin ve erginlerin görülmeye başlandığı tarihler tespit edilmiştir. İstasyonlarda mevcut bitki türlerinden toplanan örnekler ile R. simulans'ın her bir istasyondaki populasyon yoğunluğu ve hangi bitkilerde daha yoğun olarak konukçu faaliyetlerinin sürdürdüğü belirlenmiştir. Bu çalışma sonucunda ile R. simulans türünün biyolojik ve taksonomik özellikleri ile istasyonlarda yer alan doğal bitki örtüsünde ve tarım ürünlerinde R. simulans tarafından oluşturulan hasar tespit edilmiştir.

In this study, it was aimed to examine the taxonomic and biological characteristics of Ricania simulans (Walker, 1851), an agricultural pest distributed in and around Rize province. The population status of adults and nymphs in 20 stations belonging to 11 different localities in Rize province were examined, and the damaged plant species in agricultural products and natural vegetation were determined. During the study, stations located at different altitudes in Rize Merkez, Çayeli, Pazar, Ardeşen, Güneysu, İkizdere, Iyidere, Derepazarı, Kalkandere, Hemşin and Çamlıhemşin localities were determined as the study area. Damages and consequences of damage to agricultural products and natural vegetation are stated. During the study, a total of 2986 adults and 1462 nymphs were collected from the localities. Nymphs from the sample individuals were obtained from the stations determined in May and June when nymphs started to be observed, and adult individuals in July and August. While collecting samples at the stations, the location, altitude, natural vegetation of the stations and the agricultural products in the stations were taken into consideration. Body lengths in male and female individuals, whose specimens collected were subjected to laboratory analysis; height, head circumference and thorax lengths; vertex, pronotum and mesonotum lengths were measured separately for each station and average values were determined. Body parts and genital structures of female and male individuals were examined. Egg, nymph and adult stages of R. simulans in a one-year life cycle were investigated. The egg laying periods of the adults and the dates when the nymphs and adults started to appear were determined. With the samples collected from the plant species present at the stations, the population density of R. simulans at each station and in which plants the host activities were more intense were determined. According to the results of this study, the biological and taxonomic characteristics of R. simulans and the damage caused by R. simulans on the natural vegetation and agricultural products in the stations were determined.
