Abstract
Bu araştırma, farklı organik gübre kaynakları ve dozlarının Xanthi-2A tütün çeşidinde verim, kalite ve bazı kimyasal özelliklere etkisini belirlemek için Samsun-Bafra şartlarında yürütülmüştür. 2010 yılında çiftçi arazisinde yapılan çalışma, 3 farklı organik gübre (OMÜ Ziraat Fakültesi Kompostu, Yeşil Küre Tavuk Gübresi ve Biofarm), 4 dozda (0-500-1000-1500 kg/da), tesadüf blokları deneme desenine göre 3 tekerrürlü olarak tertiplenmiştir. Bitki boyu, yaprak sayısı, yaprak eni ve boyu gibi özelliklerin yanı sıra verim, kimyasal ve organoleptik özellikler değerlendirilmiştir. Gübre çeşitleri arasında önemli farklılıklar bulunmazken, gübre dozları arasındaki farklılıklar istatistiksel bakımdan (P<0,01) önemli olmuştur. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre verim ve verime etkili kriterler (bitki boyu, yaprak eni, yaprak boyu) için kullanılan gübrelerden herhangi birisinin 500 kg/da dozu tavsiye edilmiştir. Gerek kalite kriterleri (renk, doku, koku, esneklik, yaprak büyüklüğü, yaprak biçimi, yaprak damarlılığı) bakımından gerekse kimyasal özellikler (indirgen şeker ve nikotin oranı) bakımından 1000 kg/da dozu en yüksek değerlere ulaşmıştır. Ayrıca yapılan organoleptik (ekspertiz) gözlem sonuçları da dikkate alındığında, istenilen kimyasal özelliklerin ve fiziksel kalite kriterlerinin elde edildiği gübre dozunun, çalışmada kullanılan organik gübrelerden herhangi birisinin 1000 kg/da dozu olduğu tespit edilmiştir.
The study was conducted out to determine the effects of different organic fertilizer sources and their doses on yield, quality and some chemical characters in Xanthi-2A tobacco cultivar under Samsun-Bafra ecological conditions. The study was designated as randomized block with three replications by using three organic fertilizers (OMU Agricultural Faculty compost, Yesil Kure chicken manure and Biofarm) at four doses (0-500-1000-1500 kg/da) in farm conditions of 2010. Yield, chemical and organoleptic characters as well as plant height, leaf number per plant, leaf width and leaf length were evaluated from the experimental observations. Differences among the parameters were found to be significant (P<0,01) for fertilizer doses but insignificant for fertilizer type. According to the results, 500 kg/da doses of each fertilizer is recommended for yield and yield parameters (plant height, leaf width and leaf length). 1000 kg/da dose produced the highest values for quality parameters (leaf structure, flavor, colour, elasticity, shape of the leaf, amount of breakage, leaf size, leaf venation) as well as the chemical characters (invert sugar and nicotine content). Besides, 1000 kg/da dose of each fertilizer was designated as the suitable one producing the desired chemical characters and physical quality parameters when considering the results of organoleptic analyses (expertise).
