Abstract

Osmanlı tarihinin en önemli arşiv kaynaklarından bir tanesi de şer'iyye sicilleridir. Şer'iyye sicillerinde, devlet merkezi ile olan yazışmalar, halk dilekleri, fermanlar, ilamlar, hüccetler, beratlar vs. gibi konulara ait bilgilerin yanı sıra, bölgede yetişen ürünler şehir ve kasabaların tahmini nüfusu, salgın hastalıklar ve aile hayatı gibi konular da bu defterlere kaydedilmiştir. Araştırma H. 1274 - 1280 / M.1857 - 1863 yılları arasını kapsamaktadır. Çalışmamızın konusu olan 1774/20 Numaralı Samsun Şer'iyye Sicili'nin mikrofilmleri Milli Kütüphane'de bulunmaktadır. Söz konusu defterin mikro filmi buradan alınmıştır. Bu çalışmayla 19. yüzyılın son döneminde Samsun bölgesinin dini, sosyal, ekonomik ve kültürel açıdan durumunun tespitine katkıda bulunmayı hedefledik. Tez, girişle birlikte üç bölümden oluşmaktadır. Giriş kısmında, araştırmanın problem ve önemi, veri toplama araçları, araştırmanın sınırlılıkları ile kullanılan yöntemler hakkında bilgi verilmiştir. Şer'iyye sicillerinin tanımı ve Samsun mahkemelerinde tutulan şer'iyye sicil defterleri ve bunlar üzerinde günümüze kadar yapılan çalışmalar belirtilmiştir. Çalışmamızın girişten sonraki birinci bölümünde 1774/20 numaralı belgenin transkribini yaptık. İkinci bölümde de kısa bir değerlendirme yaparak Samsun'un sosyo-ekonomik ve kültürel yapısı hakkında bilgi vererek çalışmamızı sonlandırdık. One of the important archives resources of Ottoman history is Religious Law Documents. Religious Law Documents include not only information about letters written among state institutions, public demands, announcements, papers, and war rants but also agricultural products grown in the region, estimated populations of the towns, diseases, and family life. This thesis studying belongs to the between years of Hegira 1274 - 1280 / 1857 - 1863 A. D. In this study, I got 1774/20 Numbered Samsun Religious Law Documents from National Library of Ankara. I got documents as micro films. In this study, we aimed to make a contribution to the determination of the religious, social, economical and cultural situation in Samsun region at the end of the 19th century. The thesis includes three sections with the introduction. In the introduction part, research problems, significance of the research, limitations of the study and research methodology are given and definition of Religious Law Documents and the Religious Law Documents which were recorded in Samsun are mentioned. In the first part of our study next to the entrance we have made the transcribed document number 1774/20 . In the second part brought about by the end of our study of the socio-economic and cultural structure of Samsun by a brief discussion.
