Abstract
Giriş: Sağlık bakım hizmeti sunumunda tıbbi hatalar sıklıkla meydana gelmektedir. Sağlık bakım hizmeti sunumunun ana öznesi hemşirelerin tıbbi hata eğilimini etkileyen pek çok faktör bulunmaktadır. Amaç:. Araştırma işe yeni başlayan hemşirelerde tıbbi hata eğilimi ile algılanan örgütsel destek arasındaki ilişkinin belirlenmesi amacıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir Yöntem: Araştırma ilişki arayan tanımlayıcı nitelikte bir çalışmadır. Araştırmanın evrenini Sağlık Bakanlığına bağlı bir şehir hastanesinde işe yeni başlamış 303 hemşire, örneklemini ise 268 hemşire oluşturmaktadır. Araştırma verilerini 16.02.2021-16.06.2021 tarihleri arasında Google Forms aracılığıyla Tanıtıcı Bilgi Formu, Hemşirelikte Tıbbi Hata Eğilimi Ölçeği ve Algılanan Örgütsel Destek Ölçeği kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesi IBM SPSS 23 istatistiksel programında ortalama, standart sapma, ortanca, frekans, yüzdelik, bağımsız iki örnek t testi, Mann Whitney U Testi, Tek yönlü varyans analizi. Kruskal Wallis testi, Sperman's rho korelasyon testi, Shapiro-wilk ve Kolmogorov Smirnov testleri kullanılarak gerçekleştirilmiştir. Bulgular: Hemşirelerin Algılanan Örgütsel Destek Ölçeği puan ortalamasının 2,7±0,57; Tıbbi Hata Eğilim Ölçeği genel puan ortalamasının 4,49±0,46 olduğu belirlendi. Hemşirelerin algılanan örgütsel destek düzeyi ile mesleki değişkenler ve çalışma koşulları değişkenleri arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılıklar olduğu belirlendi. Hemşirelerin tıbbi hata eğilimleri ile sosyo-demografik, mesleki değişkenler ve çalışma koşulları değişkenleri arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı farklılıklar olduğu belirlendi. Sonuç: Hemşirelerin algılanan örgütsel destek düzeylerinin orta seviyede olduğu, tıbbi hata eğilimlerinin düşük olduğu belirlenirken hemşirelerin algılanan örgütsel destek puan ortalaması ile tıbbi hata eğilim puan ortalaması arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir ilişki saptanmamıştır. Introduction: Medical errors occur frequently in the delivery of healthcare services. There are a large number of factors affecting the medical error tendency of nurses, who are the main subject of healthcare delivery. Aim: The study was conducted to find out the relationship between medical error tendency and perceived organizational support of newly recruited nurses. Method: The study has a descriptive and correlational design. Population of the study consists of 303 nurses newly recruited in a city hospital affiliated to the Ministry of Health, while the sample consists of 268 nurses. Study data were collected between 16.02.2021 and 16.06.2021 by using Descriptive Information Form, Medical Error Tendency Scale in Nursing and Perceived Organizational Support Scale through Google Forms. The data were evaluated in IBM SPSS 23 statistical program by using mean, standard deviation, median, frequency, percentage, independent paired samples t test, Mann Whitney U Test, One way ANOVA, Kruskal Wallis test, Sperman's rho correlation test, Shapiro-Wilk and Kolmogorov Smirnov test. Results: It was found that Perceived Organizational Support Scale mean score of the nurses was 2,7±0,57; while their mean Medical Error Tendency Scale score was 4,49±0,46. Statistically significant differences were found between nurses' perceived organizational support levels and occupational variables and working conditions variables. Statistically significant differences were found between nurses' medical error tendency and socio-demographic and occupational variables and working conditions variables. Conclusion: While it was found that nurses had moderate perceived organizational support level and low medical error tendency; no statistically significant relationship was found between nurses' perceived organizational support mean score and medical error tendency score.
