dc.description.abstractIn the title compound, C34H28O6·0.5C7H8, the calix[4]arene mol-ecule forms a cone-like conformation, stabilized by intra-molecular O - H⋯O hydrogen bonds. In the crystal structure, the calixarene mol-ecules form centro-symmetric dimers via aromatic π-π inter-actions [centroid separation = 3.633 (3) Å]. The toluene solvent mol-ecule is disordered about an inversion centre. © International Union of Crystallography 2007.en_US
