Abstract
Bu çalışmada, susuzlaştırılmış endüstriyel arıtma çamurlarının kapalı sistemde kompostlaştırılmasıaraştırılmıştır. Proses süresince pH, elektriksel iletkenlik, nem içeriği, amonyum azotu, nitrat azotu ve toplam azot parametrelerindeki değişimler incelenmiştir. Kompostlaştırma prosesinde parametrelerin ana ve ikili etkilerinin belirlenmesi ve daha az sayıda deneysel çalışmayla etkin proses koşullarının sağlanması amacıyla Box-Behnken deneysel tasarım yöntemi uygulanmıştır. Deneysel faktörler ve seviyeleri, ilave materyal türü (pomza, perlit ve vermikülit), materyal oranı (%10, %25 ve %40) ve havalandırma oranı (3 L/dak, 6 L/dak ve 9 L/dak) olarak seçilmiştir. Deneysel tasarım yöntemi, kompostlaştırma prosesi üzerine en büyük etkiye sahip ana deneysel değişkenleri belirlemektedir. Çalışmanın sonuçları, pomzanın kompost kalitesi üzerine önemli bir etkiye sahip materyal olduğunu göstermiştir. Önerilen deneysel tasarım yöntemi, uygulaması kolay ve ekonomik bir yöntemdir. In this study, it was investigated the composting of dewatered industrial sludge in-vessel system. The variations of pH, electrical conductivity, moisture content, ammonia nitrogen, nitrate nitrogen and total nitrogen were measured during the process. The Box-Behnken experimental design method was applied to determine the main and binary effects of the parameters in the composting process and to ensure effective process conditions with fewer experimental runs. The experimental factors and their related levels were selected as amendment material type (pumice, expanded perlite and expanded vermiculite), amendment material ratio (10%, 25% and 40%), and finally aeration rate (3 L/min, 6 L/min and 9 L/min). The methodology identified the principal experimental variables, which have the greatest effect on the composting process. The results of the study showed that pumice as amendment material had significant influence on compost quality. The proposed experimental design was cost effective and easy to implement.
