Abstract
-31- 7. ÖZET Insuline bağımlı olmayan DM'lu hastaların, DR esas alınarak, değişik ev relerinde, idrarlarında amilaz izoenzimleri ve lösin aminopeptidaz aktiviteleri bi yokimyasal metodlarla incelenmiştir. Enzim aktivite değişiklikleri böbrekte GBM yük-seçiciliğinde ve tubul fonksiyonlarında diabete bağlı fonksiyon bozukluğu sonucu ortaya çıkmaktadır. Ancak bu bozukluklar, diabetik retinopatiyle birlikte bulunmakta ve genellikle de diabetik retinopati daha önce çıkmaktadır. Enzim tayinleri spektrofotometrik olarak yapılmıştır. S/p amilaz oranı daha erken dönemde başlamak üzere gerek s/p amilaz oranı gerekse LAP düzeyleri diabetik retinopatiyle ilişkili olarak hastalığın erken dönemlerinde be lirgin olarak yükselmekte ve erken bir marker olarak kendini göstermektedir. Sonuç olarak, hem s/p oranı hem de lösin aminopeptidaz tayininin di abetik retinopatinin klinik takibinde erken bir marker olarak kullanılabileceği düşünülmektedir.

SUMMARY THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN URİNARY ACTIVITIES OF AMYLASE ISOENZYMES AND LEUCINE AMINOPEPTIDASE AND CLINICAL RETINOPATHY IN TYPE II DM The urinary activities of amylase isoenzymes and leucine aminopeptidase were investigated biochemically in different stages of diabetic retinopathy in non-insulin dependent DM patients. The changes in enzyme activities occurs due to the loss of charge-selectivity of GBM and tubular dysfunction in DM. These disorders occur together with diabetic retinopathy and usually diabetic retinopathy occurs prioriy. Enzyme levels were measured spectrophotometrically. Both s/p amylase ratio and leucine aminopeptidase level were increased in early phases of disease in relation with diabetic retinopathy. However, s/p amylase ratio was increased earlier. In conclusion, both s/p amylase ratio and leucine aminopeptidase activity may be used as an early marker in clinical survival of diabetic retinopathy.
