Kültürel Psikoloji Bağlamında Yerel Sağaltım Yöntemleri (Karacaahmet Türbesi ve Keçeci Baba Türbesi Örnekleri)

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı psikolojik rahatsızlığı olan kişilerin başvurdukları yerel sağaltım yöntemlerinden türbe ziyaretlerinin iyileştirici psikolojik mekanizmasını ve türbelere yönelik tutumlar ile psikolojik belirtiler arasında bir ilişki olup olmadığını, kültürel psikoloji bağlamında incelemektir. Araştırmadaki veriler niteliksel ve niceliksel olarak iki aşamada incelenmiştir. Niceliksel aşamada araştırmanın örneklemini Türkiye'nin farklı illerinden, en az bir kere türbe ziyareti yapmış, 18 yaş üstü 503 katılımcı oluşturmuştur. Farklı eğitim, gelir ve medeni durumlara sahip bu kişiler ölçüt örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilmiştir. Verilen toplanmasında Türbelere Yönelik Tutum Envanteri ve SCL-90 Belirti Tarama Testi kullanılmıştır. Niteliksel verilerin araştırma sahası, Türkiye'de özellikle ruhsal hastalıkların tedavisi için gidilen iki türbe olarak belirlenmiştir: Afyon Karacaahmet Türbesi, Tokat Keçeci Baba Türbesi. Veriler gözlem ve yarı yapılandırılmış mülakat yöntemi ile toplanmıştır. Sonuçlar, kültürün ve dini inancın iyileşme ve çare arama süreçlerinde etkili olduğunu; bazı boyutlarda türbelere yönelik tutumlar ile psikolojik belirtiler arasında anlamlı ilişkilerin varlığını ortaya koymuştur.

The aim of this research is to examine the therapeutic psychological mechanism of visits of the shrine as an indigenous thetapeutic method and to analyse whether there is a relationship between the attitudes towards the shrines and psychological symptoms in the context of cultural psychology. The data in the study has examined in two stages that qualitatively and quantitatively. Sample of the research has been formed from different provinces of Turkey, who made a visit to the shrine at least once, over 18 years old 503 participants in quantitatively stage. Those with different education, income and marital status have been selected by criterion sampling method. Attitudes Towards the Shrines Inventory and SCL-90 Symptom Check Test have been used in the given collection. Qualitative research data fields have been selected as the two shrines especially to go for the treatment of mental illness in Turkey: Afyon Karacaahmet Shrine and Tokat Keçeci Baba Shrine. Data has been collected by observation and semi-structured interview method. The results show that culture and religious beliefs are effective in the process of recovery and remedies; there were significant relationships between the attitudes towards the shrines and psychological symptoms in some dimensions.
