Asarcık İlçesinde (Samsun) Ormansızlaşma

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Asarcık İlçesinde (Samsun) Ormansızlaşma konusu incelenmiştir. Asarcık, Karadeniz Bölgesi'nin Orta Karadeniz Bölümü'nde yer alan Samsun ilinin küçük bir ilçesidir. Çalışma sahası Asarcık ilçesinin tamamı, özellikle de ilçede bulunan orman köyleridir. Çalışmada literatür incelemesi yapılarak kaynaklar belirlenmiş olup yapılan gezi-gözlem incelemeleri sonucunda birtakım bulgulara ulaşılmıştır. Bu bulgular ışığında gerekli kurumlardan veriler alınıp ofis çalışmaları yapılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler Coğrafi Bilgi Sistemleri teknolojilerinden yararlanılarak görsellere dönüştürülmüş ve yorumlanmıştır. Araştırmada elde edilen bulgular sonucunda bölgede ormana verilen zararın oldukça fazla olduğu görülmüştür. Geçmiş yıllarda yöre halkının tabiri ile 'kökleme' adı altında birçok orman bölgesi tahrip edilerek tarlaya dönüştürülmüştür. Bölgede 2/B kanunu kapsamında da birçok alan orman dışına çıkarılmıştır. Bir diğer problem ise yakacak odun temini için ormanların bilinçsizce tahrip edilmesidir. Bu bağlamda bu yüksek lisans tezinin amacı, çeşitli verilerden yararlanarak bölgedeki ormansızlaşma faaliyetlerinin analizi ve çalışma sahasında bulunan 2/B kanunu kapsamındaki alanların incelenmesidir. Ormansızlaşma çalışmalarının hangi amaçla yapıldığı, ne kadar ormanın tahrip edildiği rakamsal verilerle aktarılmıştır. Asarcık is a small district of Samsun province located in the Middle Black Sea Section of the Black Sea Region. The study area is the entire Asarcık District, especially the forest villages in the district. In this study, the literature was examined and the sources were determined, and then some findings were obtained as a result of trip-observation studies in the field. In the light of these findings, office studies were carried out by obtaining data from necessary institutions. The data obtained were converted into images and interpreted using Geographic Information Systems technologies. As a result of the findings obtained in the study, it was seen that the damage to the forest in the region is very high. In the past years, many forest areas under the name of 'rooting' were destroyed and converted into fields with the phrase of the local people. Many areas have been taken out of the forest within the scope of 2/B law in the region. Another problem is the unconscious destruction of forests for the supply of firewood. In this context, the purpose of this master's thesis is to analyze deforestation activities in the region using various data and to examine the areas covered by the 2/ B law in the study area.
