İngilizce Eğitiminde Anlamsal Web Uygulaması ve İçsel Denetim Odağı Bağlamında Öğrenci Başarısının İncelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırma, Yükseköğretim Programı'nda bulunan İngilizce dersinin öğretiminde seviye sistemine göre, Anlamsal web uygulamasının öğrenci erişisine ve içsel denetim odağına etkisini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırma, 2015-2016 öğretim yılı ikinci döneminde Ondokuzmayıs Üniversitesi Vezirköprü Meslek Yüksekokulu'nda yürütülmüştür. Araştırmada ön test/ son-test kontrol gruplu yarı deneysel desen kullanılmıştır. Bilgisayar Programcılığı bölümü birinci öğretim birinci sınıfı kontrol grubu, Bilgisayar Programcılığı bölümü ikinci öğretim birinci sınıfı ise deney grubu olarak belirlenmiştir. Hazırlanan eğitim materyali ve sistem Ondokuzmayıs Üniversitesi Ön lisans İngilizce Ydi 102 dersi müfredatına göre düzenlenmiş olunup, İngilizce alan hocalarının onayına sunulmuştur. Daha önce başka bir çalışmada İngilizceden Türkçeye çevrilerek geçerliği ve güvenilirliği ispat edilen İçsel Denetim Odağı ölçeği her iki gruba da dönem başında uygulanmıştır. Müfredata uygun olarak 2 adet seviye belirleme sınavı anlamsal web sistemine göre internet tabanında hazırlanmıştır. Biri dönem başında olmak üzere, diğerleri her konu bitiminde uygulanmıştır. Kullanıcının seviyesine ve konuya uygun içerikleri içeren internet siteleri önceden veri havuzuna kaydedilmiştir. Kullanıcının seviyesine göre sisteme girdiğinde bu siteler, kişinin erişimine kolayca sağlanmıştır. Kontrol grubu ise bu sisteme dahil edilmeden sadece İngilizce eğitimlerine olağan şekilde devam etmişlerdir. Bu çalışma, İngilizce eğitiminde seviye sistemine göre etkinlik geliştirme ve kaynak sunma sürecinde kullanıcılara aradıkları kaynakları web tabanında paylaşmayı ve tekrar erişimlerin sağlayacak bir araç geliştirmeyi ve etkililiği amaçlamıştır. Üretilen öğrenme nesnelerinin paylaşımı ve tekrar kullanımı sayesinde gerek bu sistemde gerekse internet tabanında kullanıcı aradığı konuyla ilgili olarak en doğru sonuca en kısa sürede ulaşmıştır. Kullanıcı kendi seviyesine göre aradığı konulara en doğru ve en hızlı şekilde ulaşmıştır.

The aim of this research is to determine the impact of internal locus of control, on student access , according to the level system which is made of Semantic Web applications in the teaching of the higher education programme. The research, was conducted in the second term of 2015-2016 academic year, fn Ondokuzmayıs University Vezirköprü Vocational School. In this research, the pretest / posttest experimental design within non-equivalent control group was used. Computer programming department first class daytime education were randomly assigned to the control group. Computer programming department first class evening education has been identified as the experimental group. Prepared training material was organised according to the Ondokuzmayıs University English course ydi 102 lecture curriculum. Both the material and pretest posttest were submitted to the approval of the English field teachers. The locus of control scale which had validity and reliability was previously translated from English to Turkish and was administered to both groups at the beginning of the research. Two level tests which are suitable for the curriculum has been prepared in accordance with the semantic web base system. One of them is going to be applied at the beginning of the term and the other is at the end of the every subject. The web sites, including the level of user had been recorded to the database system on the semantic web material. When the user enter the system, the web sites shown to them according to the user's level. The control group did not enter this semantic web system. They study only by the classical method. This study aims to develop a material in English education level system so that the users can access the web pages and on line resources effectively and easily to improve their learning by themselves. By the sharing and reuse of this produced material the users can reach the right resources easily and immediately. So that they can improve their levels.
