Zihinsel Yetersizlik Tanısı Almış Özel Gereksinimli Bireylerin Ailelerinin Aile Yaşam Kalitesi Algılarının İncelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın temel amacı, gelişimsel yetersizliğe sahip çocuğu olan ebeveynlerin aile yaşam kalitelerini incelemektir. Veri seti, gelişimsel yetersizliğe sahip çocuğu olan 500 anne-babanın katılımı ile oluşturulmuştur ve bu veriler Samsun ilinde toplanmıştır. Çalışmanın veri toplama araçları olarak 'Kişisel Bilgi Formu' ve ebeveynlerin yaşam kalitesini değerlendirmek amacıyla 'Beach Center Aile Yaşam Kalitesi Ölçeği'nin orijinal formu kullanılmıştır. Analiz aşamasında ise veriler, SPSS 22 programı kullanılarak incelenmiştir. Bu çerçevede, araştırma gelişimsel yetersizliğe sahip çocukları olan ebeveynlerin aile yaşam kalitesini derinlemesine anlamayı hedeflemektedir. Araştırma, zihinsel yetersizlikle yaşayan bireylerin ailelerinin yaşam kalitesini etkileyen faktörleri anlamak ve bu bağlamda destekleyici bilgiler sunmak amacını taşımaktadır. Bu kapsamda öncelikle konu ile ilgili yapılmış geçmiş çalışmalar ışığında literatür araştırması yapılmıştır. Araştırma, katılımcıların aile yaşam kalitesini etkileyen faktörleri değerlendirmek için çeşitli yöntemler kullanacaktır. Anket aracılığıyla elde edilen veriler, ailelerin zihinsel yetersizlikle başa çıkma stratejilerini, duygusal durumlarını ve sosyal destek sistemlerini anlamak için analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonuçları, zihinsel yetersizlik tanısı almış bireylerin ailelerinin yaşam kalitesi algılarını etkileyen önemli faktörleri ortaya koymayı hedeflemektedir. Bu faktörler, sağlık hizmetlerine erişim, sosyal destek, eğitim olanakları ve toplumsal kabul gibi çeşitli alanları içerebilir. Bulgular, bu ailelere yönelik destek programlarının geliştirilmesi ve iyileştirilmesine katkıda bulunmakta, aynı zamanda toplumun bu bireyleri ve aileleriyle daha iyi bir anlayış ve dayanışma geliştirmesine olanak sağlamaktadır. The data set was created with the participation of 500 parents of children with developmental disabilities, and these data were collected in Samsun province. 'Personal Information Form' was used as the data collection tools of the study and the original form of the 'Beach Center Family Quality of Life Scale' was used to evaluate the quality of life of the parents. During the analysis phase, the data were examined using the SPSS 22 program. Data obtained through the survey were analyzed to understand families' strategies for coping with intellectual disability, their emotional state, and their social support systems. The research results aim to reveal the important factors affecting the quality of life perceptions of the families of individuals diagnosed with intellectual disabilities. These factors can include a variety of areas, such as access to healthcare, social support, educational opportunities, and social acceptance. The findings contribute to the development and improvement of support programs for these families, as well as allowing society to develop a better understanding and solidarity with these individuals and their families.
