Dimension Culturelle Dans Les Livres De Methode De Français Aux Ecoles Galatasaray

Abstract

Biz bu çalışmada, yabancı dil öğretiminin kültürel yönlerini inceledik. Çalışmamız sırasında Türkiye'de Fransızca eğitiminde önemli bir yere sahip olan Galatasaray okullarının tüm sınıf seviyelerinin (ilkokul, ortaokul, lise) birinci sınıf ders kitaplarını inceledik. Bunlar; Lili, la petitgrenouille 1, Adosphère 3 ve Saison 1' dur. Kitaplarda yabancı dil öğretimi sırasında kültür ve çok kültürlülük esasına dayalı olan kültürel boyutu, görsel, kelime ve metin açısından ele aldık. Çalışmamız nitel bir araştırmadır. Yabancı dil öğretiminde sadece dilbilgisinin değil, dilin farklı yönlerinin de öğretilmesi gerektiğine inanıyoruz. Bu nedenle ders kitaplarında, hedef dilin kültürel yönlerinin, öğrencilere ne şekilde aktarıldığını irdeledik. Bu çalışma sırasında Fransız, Frankofon ve çok kültürlülük başlıkları altında çalıştık. Bir toplumun en önemli ürünlerinden biri olan kültür ve kültürel değerlerin yabancı dil öğretiminde önemli bir yer tuttuğunu ve bunun ders kitaplarında yer alması gerektiğine dikkat çekmek istedik. Bu çalışmamıza göre, sınıf seviyesi yükseldikçe kültürel öğelere, gerek resim ve gerekse kelime ve metin olarak daha fazla yer verildiği saptamasında bulunduk.

In this study, we have examined the cultural aspects of foreign language teaching. In our research, we have studied the textbooks in Galatasaray School which has an important place in French education in Turkey. The titles of the books are as follows; Lili, la petit grenouille 1, Adosphère 3 and Saison.1 We have discussed the cultural aspects based on culture and multiculturalism in the books, therefore we have analyzed the visuals, words and texts. Our study is a qualitative study. We believe that not only grammar, but also different aspects of language should be taught in foreign language teaching. Therefore, in the textbooks, we examined how the cultural aspects of the target language were conveyed to the students. During this study, we have classified the cultural elements under the titles of French, Francophone and multiculturalism. We wanted to draw attention to the fact that culture and cultural values, which are one of the most important colors of a society, have an important place in foreign language teaching and this should be included in the textbooks. In this study, we have determined that as the level of the class rises, cultural elements are given more space as pictures, words and text.
