5-(2-Chlorobenzoyl)-1,3-Benzoxazol-2(3H)-one

Abstract

The title compound, C<inf>14</inf>H<inf>18</inf>ClNO<inf>3</inf>, contains a planar dihydrobenzoxazolone ring system and a planar chlorobenzoyl group; the dihedral angle between the two planes is 86.84 (4)°. In the crystal structure, there are intermolecular C-H⋯O and N-H⋯O hydrogen bonds, together with π-π stacking interactions. © 2004 International Union of Crystallography Printed in Great Britain - all rights reserved.
