Abstract
Asynchronous machines are preferred in most applications because their prices are inexpensive, they do not require maintenance and don't generate arc. In order to increase the efficiency obtained from asynchronous machines, this machine is controlled. These control methods are speed, torque and constant V/f controls. Controllers are the most commonly used method for performing these controls. In this study, speed and V/f control of asynchronous motor is made by using PI controller. PI controller parameters were obtained using optimization algorithms. Particle Swarm Optimization and Cuckoo Search Optimization are the optimization algorithms used in this study. Induction motor simulation is performed in MATLAB/Simulink and speed, moment and stator current graphs are examined. At the same time, performance comparison of optimization algorithms has been made. The results showed that Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm is more successful than Cuckoo Search algorithm. Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm has been achieved stability. © 2022 IEEE.
