Publication: Güreşçilerin Egzersiz Bağımlılığı Düzeyinin İncelenmesi
Abstract
Bu araştırmada, güreşçilerin egzersiz bağımlılık düzeylerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini 303 güreşçi oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Tekkurşun Demir vd., (2018) tarafından geliştirilen 'Egzersiz Bağımlılığı Ölçeği' kullanılmıştır. Tüm analizler SPSS 25.0 programında ve 0.05 anlamlılık düzeyinde gerçekleştirildi. Çalışmada güreşçilerde cinsiyet değişkenine göre egzersiz bağımlılık alt boyutlarında aşırı odaklanma ve duygu değişimi ile tolerans gelişimi ve tutku alt boyutlarında anlamlı farklılık tespit edilirken, bireysel sosyal ihtiyaçların ertelenmesi ve çatışma alt boyutunda anlamlı farklılık bulunmamıştır. Kadın ve erkek katılımcıların bağımlı düzeyde (52-69 bağımlı grup) oldukları hesaplandı. Yaş değişkenine göre egzersiz bağımlılığı alt boyutlarında aşırı odaklanma ve duygu değişimi alt boyutunda anlamlı farklılık bulunurken, tolerans gelişimi ve tutku ile bireysel sosyal ihtiyaçların ertelenmesi ve çatışma alt boyutlarında anlamlı farklılık bulunmamıştır. Çalışmada güreşçilerde gelir durumu değişkenine göre aşırı odaklanma ve duygu değişimi ve tolerans gelişimi ve tutku alt boyutlarında anlamlı farklılık tespit edilirken, bireysel sosyal ihtiyaçların ertelenmesi ve çatışma alt boyutunda anlamlı farklılık tespit edilmemiştir. Eğitim durumunun artması egzersiz bağımlılık düzeylerini etkileyen bir faktör olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Çalışmada güreşçilerde medeni durumu değişkenine göre bireysel sosyal ihtiyaçların ertelenmesi ve çatışma ile tolerans gelişimi ve tutku düzeylerinde anlamlı farklılık bulunmazken, aşırı odaklanma ve duygu değişimi düzeylerinde anlamlı farklılık bulunmuştur. Çalışmada güreşçilerde antrenman egzersiz süresine göre aşırı odaklanma ve duygu değişimi ve tolerans gelişimi ve tutku düzeylerinde anlamlı farklılık bulunurken, bireysel sosyal ihtiyaçların ertelenmesi ve çatışma düzeylerinde anlamlı farklılık bulunmamıştır. Üç saat ve üstü antrenman yapan güreşçilerin aşırı odaklanma ve duygu değişimi ve aşırı odaklanma ve duygu değişimi düzeylerinin daha yüksek olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak, güreşçilerde kadın ve erkek katılımcıların bağımlı düzeyde (52-69 bağımlı grup) oldukları, yaşın, ekonomik durumun, cinsiyetin, eğitim durumunun ve medeni durumun egzersiz bağımlılık düzeylerini etkilediği görülmüştür.
In this study, it was aimed to investigate the exercise addiction levels of wrestlers. The sample of the study consists of 303 wrestlers. 'Exercise Addiction Scale' developed by Tekkurşun Demir et al. (2018) was used as a data collection tool in the study. All analyses were performed in SPSS 25.0 programme and at 0.05 significance level. In the study, a significant difference was found in the sub-dimensions of exercise addiction in wrestlers according to gender variable in the sub-dimensions of excessive focus and emotion change, tolerance development and passion, while no significant difference was found in the sub-dimension of postponement of individual social needs and conflict. It was calculated that female and male participants were at the dependent level (52-69 dependent group). According to the age variable, a significant difference was found in the sub-dimensions of exercise addiction in the sub-dimensions of over-focus and emotion change, while no significant difference was found in the sub-dimensions of tolerance development and passion, postponement of individual social needs and conflict. In the study, a significant difference was found in the sub-dimensions of hyperfocus and emotion change and tolerance development and passion, while no significant difference was found in the sub-dimensions of postponement of individual social needs and conflict according to the income status variable in wrestlers. Increasing education level was found to be a factor affecting exercise addiction levels. In the study, postponement of individual social needs and conflict sub-dimensions were found to be significantly different in wrestlers according to marital status. It was found that increasing educational status was a factor affecting exercise addiction levels. In the study, no significant difference was found in the levels of postponement of individual social needs and conflict, tolerance development and passion, while a significant difference was found in the levels of hyperfocus and emotion change according to the marital status variable in wrestlers. In the study, a significant difference was found in the levels of hyperfocus and emotion change, tolerance development and passion, but no significant difference was found in the levels of postponement of individual social needs and conflict according to the duration of training exercise in wrestlers. Wrestlers who trained for three hours or more were found to have higher levels of hyperfocus and emotion change and hyperfocus and emotion change.
