Yaygın Kriptokok İnfeksiyonu Olan AIDS Olgusu

Abstract

Yaygın kriptokokkozlu bir AIDS hastası sunulmuştur. Yirmi dokuz yaşında kadın hasta, konvülziyon ve konuşma bozukluğu nedeniyle hastaneye başvurdu. İncelemeler sonrası anti-HIV pozitifliği saptandı ve beyin-omurilik sıvısı, kan ve kemik iliği kültürlerinde Cryptococcus neoformans üredi. Hasta, antifungal tedavinin yedinci gününde kaybedildi.In this paper, an AIDS patient with disseminated cryptococcosis is presented. Twenty-nine-year old woman was admitted to the clinic with complaints of disarthry and convulsion. She was diagnosed to be HIV-positive, and Cryptococcus neoformans was isolated in the cultures of cerebrospinal fluid, blood and bone marrow. She was lost on the seventh day of antifungal therapy.
