Eğitim Fakülteleri Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalları Öğrencilerinin Çalıştıkları Eserleri Tanıma ve Seslendirme Düzeylerine İlişkin Görüşleri

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, müzik eğitimi anabilim dalı lisans öğrencilerinin çalıştıkları eserleri tanıma ve seslendirme düzeylerine ilişkin görüşlerini saptamak ve öğrencilerin çalgı eğitimi ile müzikal performans alanlarında çalıştıkları eserlerin doğru ve etkili seslendirmelerine ilişkin öğrenme-öğretme süreçlerine katkıda bulunmaktır. Araştırmanın evrenini Türkiye'deki üniversitelerin eğitim fakültelerinin güzel sanatlar eğitimi bölümlerine bağlı müzik eğitimi anabilim dalları, örneklemini ise Türkiye'nin her bir coğrafi bölgesinden ulaşılabilirliğine göre seçilen 7 üniversitenin müzik eğitimi anabilim dalında 2013-2014 eğitim-öğretim yılında öğrenim gören toplam 143 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. iii Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak, araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen ' Müzik Eğitimi Anabilim Dalı Lisans Öğrencilerinin Çalıştıkları Eserleri Tanıma ve Seslendirme Düzeylerine İlişkin Görüş Anketi' kullanılmıştır. Dört bölümden oluşan anketin birinci bölümünde öğrencilerin seslendirdikleri eserlerin parmak numaralarına ve dinamiklerine dikkat etme, eserleri temposuna ve stillerine uygun olarak yorumlama gibi çalma tekniklerine ilişkin maddeler bulunmaktadır. Kaynak tarama yoluyla elde edilen veriler sistematik hale getirilip düzenlenmiş, anketlerden elde edilen görüşlere yönelik nicel verilerin istatiksel çözümlemelerinde ise SPSS 15.0 paket programından yararlanılmıştır. Nicel verilerde, Cronbach Alfa Güvenilirlik Formülü, normallik sınanması için Kolmogorov-Smirnov testi, nonparametrik testlerden Kruskal-Wallis Testi ve parametrik testlerden t-testi analizi kullanılmıştır. İstatistik sonuçlar 0.05 anlamlılık düzeyinde yorumlanmıştır. Elde edilen bulgular sonucunda, lisans öğrencilerinin çalıştıkları eserleri tanıma ve seslendirme düzeylerine ilişkin görüşlerinde çalgı tekniğine ve süsleme işaretlerine büyük ölçüde dikkat edildiği, seslendirme ve yorumlama süreçlerinde ise eserlerin biçimsel ve armonik yapılarına ilişkin çözümlemelerin yapılmadığı sonucuna varılmıştır. Öğrencilerin cinsiyetleri, mezun oldukları lise türü ve bireysel çalgı değişkenlerine göre çalıştıkları eserleri tanıma ve seslendirme düzeylerine ilişkin görüşleri arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir farklılık bulunamamıştır. The aim of this study is to determine the views of undergraduate students of Music Education Department on the levels of understanding and performing the pieces they practice, and to contribute their process of learning-teaching regarding correct and efficient performance of the pieces they practice in the fields of musical performance and instrument education. v The population of the study consists of the departments of music education in the fine arts education departments of education faculties in the universities in Turkey, while the samples of the study are 143 students studying in the music education departments of the 7 universities in the education year of 2013-2014 selected from each of the geographical regions of Turkey based on their accessibility. The data in the study were collected through 'Survey on the Views of the Undergraduate Students of Music Education Department on the Levels of Understanding and Performing the Pieces They Practice' developed by the researcher. In the first part of the survey which has four parts, there are questions regarding playing techniques such as paying attention to the dynamics and the finger numbers of the pieces they perform, and interpreting the pieces in accordance with their tempo and style. The data gathered through literature review were made systematic and organised, and SPSS 15.0 was used in the statistical analysis of quantitative data regarding the views gathered via the surveys. Cronbach Alpha Reliability Test was used for the quantitative data while Kolmogorov-Smirnov Test was used to test normality. Of non-parametric tests, Kruskal-Wallis test was used while t-test analysis tests was used for the parametric tests. The statistical results were interpreted by 0.05 level of significance. According to the results, it was found in the views of undergraduate students on the understanding and performing of the pieces they practice that students pay a lot of attention to playing technique and embellishment signs while in the processes of performing and interpreting analyses regarding the stylistic and harmonic structure of the pieces were not done. No significant difference was found in the views regarding the understanding and performing of the pieces in terms of the variables of students' gender, the type of the high school they graduated and the individual instruments.
