5,7-Dimethyl-1,2,4-Triazolo[1,5-a]Pyrimidine

Abstract

The molecules in the title compound, C<inf>7</inf>H<inf>8</inf>N <inf>4</inf>, are linked into sheets by a combination of C-H⋯N hydrogen bonds and π-π interactions. The hydrogen bonds generate two-dimensional networks with a C(6) chain motif. There are two planar symmetry-independent molecules in the asymmetric unit, with a dihedral angle of 4.29 (8)° between their least-squares mean planes. © 2006 International Union of Crystallography All rights reserved.
