It is aimed in this research whether the renewed "Science of Life" textbooks with the programme which altered based on the constructivist learning approach in 2005, are being prepared functionally in terms of language and expression or not. At the end of the analysis of the text books, it is seen that books do not match up with the Turkish Programme in terms of punctuation marks, the required importance is not given to punctuation and spelling rules, the number of the words in the statement are over the class levels, the rule of single-sample is not obeyed, although they have their Turkish equivalents, many words are used with their foreign equivalents.en_US
