4-(m-Chlorobenzylamino)-3-Methyl-4,5-Dihydro-1H-1,2,4-Triazol-5-One

Abstract

The characteristic features of 1,2,4-triazole derivatives displayed by the compound C<inf>10</inf>H<inf>11</inf>ClN<inf>4</inf>O, was investigated. The crystal structure was stabilized by N - H...O intermolecular hydrogen bonds. It was found that the 1,2,4-triazole ring was planar where the maximum deviation from planarity was 0.010 (2) A ̇ for atom C10. The results show that the molecules were linked by N - H...O intermolecular hydrogen bonds and formed chains along the b axis in the crystal structure.
