Zihinsel Engelli Öğrencilerin Kavram Öğretiminde Kullanılan Etkileşimli Eğitim Cd'lerinin Görsel Tasarım İlkelerine ve İçeriğe Uyumu

Abstract

Etkileşimli eğitim CD'leri öğrencinin kendisinin birebir iletişimde bulunarak bilgiye ulaşabileceği en etkili öğretim araçlarından biridir. Algılama güçlüğü yaşayan zihinsel engelli öğrencilerin eğitimlerinin temeli uygulama ve görselliğe dayanmaktadır. Bu bakımdan zihinsel engelli öğrencilerin eğitimlerinde kullanılan etkileşimli eğitim CD'lerinin görsel tasarımlarının, söz konusu gruptaki öğrencilerin öğrenmelerini destekleyecek nitelikte tasarım ilke ve öğelerine uygun hazırlanması gerekmektedir.Kavramlar, somut ya da soyut düşünce ve varlıkların zihnimizdeki simgeleridir. Bu simgeler günlük yaşamın her alanında yer almaktadır. Bu araştırmada, zihinsel engelli öğrencilerin kavram öğretiminde kullanılan etkileşimli eğitim CD'lerinin görsel tasarım ilkelerine ve kavram öğretim sistematiğine uyumu incelenmiştir. Çalışmada ilgili yayın ve araştırmalar doğrultusunda, etkileşimli eğitim CD'lerinin görsel etkililiğinin değerlendirilebileceği 15 ölçüt belirlenmiştir. Örneklemi oluşturan iki CD'nin görselleri belirlenen 15 ölçüte göre çözümlenmiştir. Çözümlemeler sonunda, CD'lerin tasarım ilkelerine ve tasarım öğelerine uygun etkililikte ve kavram öğretim sistematiğine uygun hazırlanmadığı görülmüştür.Araştırma sonunda; eğitim CD'lerinin niteliğinin artırılabilmesi için, 15 ölçüt çerçevesinde değerlendirilebileceği ve CD'lerin hazırlanma aşamasında özel eğitim; resim ve grafik tasarım uzmanlarının yer almasının yararlı olabileceği söylenebilir.

Interactive training CD?s are one of the most effective tools that the students can reach the information, forming a one-to-one communication. The education of mentally impaired children with perception difficulties is based on practice and visuality. In this respect, the visual design of interactive CD?s used in mentally impaired children?s education should be prepared in compliance with the design principles and elements that is of supportive quality to the learning?s of the children in the mentioned group.Concepts are the images of thoughts and beings in our minds, whether concrete or abstract. Those images take place in every part of daily life. In this research, adaptation of the mentally impaired children to the visual design principles and concept teaching systematic of the interactive training CD?s used in concept education of mentally impaired children have been examined. In this study in line with the related publications and researches, 15 criteria have been determined to evaluate visual effectiveness. The visual aspects of two CDs, the sampling, have been analyzed according to the pre-determined 5 criteria. Following the analyses, it was observed that the CDs were not prepared in compliance with the design principles and effectiveness proper to the design elements and the concept education systematic. At the end of the study it could be mentioned that in order to increase quality of the education CDs, it would be evaluated within the framework of the 15 criteria and special education and presence of picture and graphic design experts would be beneficial.
