dc.description.abstractThe ring structure of the 4-(3-pyridyloxy)phthalonitrile was investigated. The pathalonitrile ring and a pyridine ring present in the compound were found to be non-coplanar. The dihedral angle bewteen the two six-membered rings was 85.77 °. The single crystals of the compound were obtained from the solution of the compound in ethanol by slow evaporation.en_US
