Bireysel ve Takım Sporları Antrenörlerinin Etik İlkelere Bağlılıklarının İncelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı takım ve bireysel sporlarda görev yapan antrenörlerin meslek etiği ilklerine bağlıklarının yaş, cinsiyet, medeni durum, eğitim düzeyi, antrenörlük kademesi, ekonomik durum, takım veya bireysel antrenörlük değişkenlerine göre incelemektir. Araştırmanın örneklemini Samsun ilinde takım ve bireysel sporlarda görev yapan toplamda 213 kadın erkek antrenör oluşturmaktadır. Veri toplama aracı olarak 'Antrenörlerin Meslek Etiği Davranışları Ölçeği' uygulanmıştır. İkili grupların karşılaştırılmasında (cinsiyet, medeni durum, takım veya bireysel antrenörlük) t testi, ikiden fazla grup karşılaştırılmasında (yaş, ekonomik durum, antrenörlük kademesi, çalışma yılı, eğitim düzeyi) ANOVA testi kullanılmış olup farklılığın yönünü tespit edebilmek için tukey çoklu karşılaştırma yapılmıştır. Yapılan analiz sonucunda yaş, cinsiyet medeni durum, eğitim düzeyi, ekonomik düzey, çalışma yılı, antrenörlük kademesi, takım ve ya bireysel antrenörlük değişkenlerine göre, meslek etiği davranışları ölçeği alt boyutlarında anlamlı bir farklılaşma yoktur (p>0,05).Yaş aralığı değişkenine göre, profesyonellik alt boyutunda ise anlamlı bir farklılık vardır (p<0,05), ölçeğin diğer alt boyutlarında anlamlı bir farlılık yoktur (p>0,05). Profesyonellik alt boyutunda 29-38 yaş arasında olanlar 18- 28 yaş, 39-48 yaş ve 49 ve üzeri olanlardan istatistiki olarak daha düşük puana sahiptir.. Profesyonellik alt boyutunda ise toplam puanda 49 yaş ve üzeri olanlar 29- 38 yaş aralığında olanlardan yüksek puana sahiptir (p=0,024). Sonuç olarak 'Profesyonellik' alt boyutunda yaş değişkeni hariç diğer değişkenlerde farklılık yoktur. Medeni durum, eğitim düzeyi, çalışma yılı, antrenörlük kademesi, takım veya bireysel anternörlük değişkenlerine göre gruplar arası anlamlı bir farklılık yoktur

This study examines the adherence of coaches working in team and individual sports to professional, ethical principles about age, gender, marital status, education level, coaching level, economic status, and whether they coach a team or individual sports. The study sample consists of 213 male and female coaches working in team and individual sports in the province of Samsun. The data collection tool used was the 'Coaches' Professional Ethical Behavior Scale.' A t-test was used to compare the two groups (gender, marital status, team or individual coaching). An ANOVA test was applied to compare more than two groups (age, economic status, coaching level, years of experience, education level). In order to determine the direction of the differences, Tukey's multiple comparison test was conducted. As a result of the analysis, no significant differences were found in the sub-dimensions of the professional ethical behaviour scale based on age, gender, marital status, education level, economic status, years of experience, coaching level, or whether they coached team or individual sports (p>0.05). However, a significant difference was found in the 'Professionalism' subdimension based on age (p<0.05), while no significant differences were found in the other sub-dimensions of the scale (p>0.05). In the 'Professionalism' sub-dimension, participants aged 29–38 had statistically lower scores than those aged 18–28, 39–48, and 49 and above. Regarding total scores for the 'Professionalism' sub-dimension, those aged 49 and above had higher scores than those in the 29–38 age group (p=0.024). As a result, no differences were found across other variables apart from the age variable in the 'Respect' sub-dimension. No significant differences were observed between the groups based on marital status, education level, years of experience, coaching level, or whether they coached team or individual sports.
