Eğitici 5.0: Geleceğin Eğitim Programının Etkililiği

Abstract

Yapay zekâ (YZ), çağımızın en hızlı gelişen teknolojilerinden biri olarak eğitim de dahil olmak üzere birçok alanda köklü dönüşümler yaratmaktadır. Eğitim süreçlerinde bireyselleştirilmiş öğrenme, akıllı ölçme sistemleri ve veri odaklı karar mekanizmaları gibi yenilikler sunan YZ, buna rağmen öğretmenlerin sınırlı farkındalığı nedeniyle eğitim ortamlarında istenen düzeyde etkin kullanılamamaktadır. Bu bağlamda, öğretmenlerin YZ'yi etik ilkeler doğrultusunda ve eğitimsel hedeflere uygun şekilde kullanabilmeleri için planlı ve sistematik eğitim programlarına gereksinim duyulmaktadır. Bu ihtiyaca yanıt olarak geliştirilen 'Eğitici 5.0: Geleceğin Eğitim Programı'nın etkililiği bu çalışmada değerlendirilmiştir. Program; 'YZ kavramı', 'YZ araçlarının eğitime entegrasyonu' ile 'etik, veri mahremiyeti ve algoritmik önyargılar' başlıkları etrafında kuramsal ve uygulamalı içeriklerle yapılandırılmıştır. Araştırmada zayıf deneysel desenlerden tek grup öntest-sontest deseni kullanılmıştır. Çalışma grubu 15 gönüllü öğretmenden oluşmuştur. Veri toplama sürecinde Yapay Zekâ Farkındalık Ölçeği, Program Değerlendirme Ölçeği ve açık uçlu sorulardan oluşan yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizinde betimsel istatistiklerin yanı sıra Wilcoxon İşaretli Sıralar Testi kullanılmıştır Araştırma bulgularına göre özellikle 'ilişkilendirme' boyutunda anlamlı düzeyde fark elde edilmiştir (z=-2.231, p<.05); diğer alt boyutlarda anlamlılık saptanmasa da genel olarak son test lehine puan ortalamalarının arttığı gözlenmiştir. Program Değerlendirme Ölçeği'ne ilişkin puan ortalamalarının 4,37 ile kesinlikle katılıyorum düzeyinde olduğu görülmüş, program katılımcılar tarafından öğretici, farkındalık kazandırıcı ve mesleki gelişime katkı sunan bir yapı olarak değerlendirilmiştir.Artificial intelligence (AI), as one of the fastest developing technologies of our age, creates radical transformations in many fields, especially education. AI, which offers innovations such as individualized learning, intelligent measurement systems and data-driven decision-making mechanisms in educational processes, cannot be used effectively in educational environments at the desired level due to teachers' limited awareness. In this context, there is a need for planned and systematic training programs for teachers to use AI in line with ethical principles and in accordance with educational goals. The effectiveness of the 'Educator 5.0: Future Education Program' developed in response to this need was evaluated in this study. The program was structured with theoretical and practical contents around the topics of 'AI concept', 'integration of AI tools into education' and 'ethics, data privacy and algorithmic biases'. A one-group pretest-posttest design, one of the weak experimental designs, was used in the study. The study group consisted of 15 volunteer teachers. In the data collection process, Artificial Intelligence Awareness Scale, Program Evaluation Scale and a semi-structured interview form consisting of open-ended questions were used. According to the research findings, a significant difference was obtained especially in the 'associating' dimension (z=-2.231, p<.05); although there was no significance in other sub-dimensions, it was observed that the mean scores increased in favor of the post-test in general. It was seen that the mean score of the Program Evaluation Scale was at the level of strongly agree with 4.37, and the program was evaluated by the participants as a structure that is instructive, raises awareness and contributes to professional development.
