Abstract
Acute hemorrhagic edema in young infants is an isolated cutaneous leukocytoclastic vasculitis characterized by fever, edema and purpuric rashes. Infections, immunization and drugs can be responsible in the etiology of the disease. In spite of its clinical violent onset; clinical course is benign and the disease resolves in a short time. In this paper, we report a 13 month-old boy who presented with petechial rash on the earl lobes, targetoid plaques on the right upper extremity, and swelling of the right foot.
