Abstract
Dini kültürde tüketim sorunu, bilhassa Türkiye örneğinde, Müslümanların karşı karşıya kalmış oldukları yeni tüketim pratikleri bağlamında dikkat çeken bir meseledir. Özellikle modernite ve küreselleşme süreci dolayısıyla Türkiye?de Müslümanlar yeni tüketim pratikleri ile karşı karşıya kalmışlardır. Dolayısıyla dini kültürün geleneksele dayalı yapısı, toplumların son zamanlarda tecrübe ettikleri zaman ve mekan değişikliklerinden büyük oranda etkilenmiştir. Bu çalışmada bu dönüşümün izlerinin bulunabileceği bir ekonomik etkinlik olarak tüketim faaliyeti ele alınmaktadır. Bu anlamda yeni bir tüketim pratiği olarak modanın, bireysel ve toplumsal dönüşümü açıklayan işlevsel bir kavram olduğu düşünülmektedir. The problem of consumption in the religious culture especially as in the case of Turkey is remerkable matter that Muslims have faced to face today in the context of new consumption practices. Because of modernity and globalization process, Muslims in Turkey faced with new consumption practices. Therefore, the structure of religious culture based on tradition has been influenced mostly changes experienced by the societies recently in time and space. In this study, consumption activity is discussed as an economic activity that can be found traces of transformation. In this sense, it is thought that fashion, as new practice of consumption, a functional concept describing the individual and social transformation.
