Orta Karadeniz Bölgesi Bazı Kestane Genotiplerinin Yaprak ve Stoma Özellikleri

Abstract

Bu araştırma Orta Karadeniz Bölgesi'nden seçilmiş bazı kestane genotiplerinin yaprak ve stoma özelliklerini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Araştırmada Ordu'nun Fatsa ilçesindeki deneme bahçesinden Ağustos 2006 ve 2007'de alınan örneklerde yaprak ve stoma özellikleri incelenmiştir. Bu çalışmada materyal olarak SE 3-12, SA 5-1, SE 21-2, SE 21-9, 552-8, 556-7 ve 556-8 kestane genotipleri ile Sarıaşlama (Klon 51111) çeşidi kullanılmıştır.Yapraklarda diş şekilleri nokta ile testere arasında değişmiştir. Yaprak sapının birleştiği yer olan yaprak ayası tabanının şekli ise hem tipler hem de tip içinde dar açılı ile kalp şekli arasında değişmiştir. Yaprakların üst yüzeylerinde yan damarlar tüysüz, alt yüzeyleri ile orta damarda genotiplere göre farklı yoğunluklarda tüylülük tespit edilmiştir. Tüm genotiplerde stomalar yaprak epidermisi üzerinde genellikle merkezdeki bir stoma hücresinden çevreye doğru halka şeklinde bir dağılım göstermiştir. Çalışmada incelenen tüm kantitatif özelliklerde genotipler arasında istatistiksel farklılıklar bulunmuştur. Genotiplere göre yaprak ayası genişliği 4.03-6.74 cm, uzunluğu 17.0-23.5 cm, alanı 60.5-112.2 cm2, yaprak ayası genişlik/uzunluk oranı 0.19-0.34, yaprak sapı uzunluğu 1.86-2.93 cm, yaprak uzunluğu 19.9-25.7 cm, yaprak ayası genişliği/yaprak uzunluğu oranı 0.16-0.31, diş genişliği 1.01-3.31 mm, diş uzunluğu 1.80-5.18 mm, dişlerde genişlik/uzunluk oranı 0.39-0.74, iki diş arası mesafe 7.09-12.21 mm, stoma eni 16.3-19.3 µm, stoma boyu ise 22.8-26.1 µm, stomada en/boy oranı 0.71-0.76 ve stoma sayısı 283.7-473.5 adet/mm2 arasında değişmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda, yaprak ayası eni, boyu, yaprak ayası en/boy oranı, yaprak uzunluğu, yaprak ayası eni/yaprak uzunluğu, yaprak alanı, diş şekli, iki diş (yan damarlar) arası mesafe ve stoma boyutlarının çeşitlerin tanımlanmasında daha güvenilir kriterler olduğu belirlenmiştir.

The aim of this study is to determine of leave and stomata characteristics of some chestnut genotypes from Middle Black Sea Region. In this research, some leave and stomata characteristics were investigated in the samples which were taken from trial garden in Fatsa / Ordu in August 2006-2007. SE 3-12, SA 5-1, SE 21-2, SE 21-9, 552-8, 556-7 and 556-8 chestnut genotypes and Sariaslama (klon 51111) were used in this research.Incisions of leave teeth were different from mucronate to dentate and shape of base of leave blade was different from acute to cordate. There were not hairs on the upper surface of the leaves (amongst the veins); however hair frequency of the lower surface of the leaves and main vein varied according to the genotypes. In all of the genotypes, the stomata were dispersed in a circular shape with stoma at the centre on the leave epiderma. There were statistical differences in all of the quantitative traits between genotypes.Following ranges were determined in the chestnut genotypes. Width of leave blade from 4.03 to 6.74 cm, length of leave blade from 17.0 to 23.5 cm, , space of leave blade from 60.5-112.2 cm2, ratio of width of leave blade/length of leave blade from 0.19 to 0.34, length of petiole from 1.86 to 2.93 cm, length of leave from 19.9 to 25.7 cm, ratio of width of leaf blade/length of leave from 0.16 to 0.31, width of teeth from1.01-3.31 mm, length of teeth from 1.80 to 5.18 mm, ratio of width of teeth/length of teeth from 0.39 to 0.74, distance between teeth from 7.09 to 12.21 mm, width of stomata from 16.3 to 19.3µm, length of stomata from 22.8 to 26.1µm, ratio width of stomata/length of stomata from 0.71-0.76 and number of stomata in a mm2 from 283.7-473.5. Width of leave blade, length of leave blade, space of leave blade, ratio of width of blade/length of leave blade, length of leave, ratio of width of leave blade/length of leave, shape of teeth, distance between teeth, ratio of width of teeth/length of teeth and stomata dimensions were determined as more criteria for cultivar differentiation.
