Hz. Peygamber'in Sünnetinde Çocuk Eğitimi

Abstract

Bu tez, Hz. Peygamber'in sünneti çerçevesinde çocuk eğitimi konusunu kapsamlı bir şekilde incelemektedir. Çalışmada, İslam dininin temel iki kaynağından biri olan Hz. Peygamber'in sünnetinde çocuklara ve gençlere yönelik eğitimin ne zaman başladığı, neleri kapsadığı, nasıl verildiği, yöntemleri, günümüz eğitimine etkisi ve katkısı ana hatlarıyla analiz edilmiştir. Çalışma, Hz. Peygamber'in sünneti çerçevesinde gelişen eğitim anlayışının temel kavramlarını ve prensiplerini ortaya koyarak günümüz eğitim sistemi ile uyumlu öneriler sunmaktadır. Hz. Peygamber'in sünneti doğrultusunda çocuk eğitimi konusunu incelemek amacıyla literatür taraması ve içerik analizi yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Tez, dört ana başlık ve sonuç kısmından oluşmaktadır. Birinci bölümde; giriş, araştırmanın konusu, amacı, yöntemi, literatür değerlendirmesi ve temel kavramlar üzerinde durulmuştur. İkinci bölüm, çocuk eğitiminde sosyal unsurlar ve temel konular hakkındadır. Üçüncü bölüm, Hz. Peygamber'in hayatında ve hadislerinde çocuk başlığından oluşmaktadır. Dördüncü bölümde ise, Hz. Peygamber'in eğitim modeline yer verilmiştir. Sonuç kısmıyla çalışmanın genel değerlendirmesi yapılarak araştırma tamamlanmıştır. Bu çalışma ile ayrıca, çocuk eğitimi sürecinde karşılaşılan sorunlara Hz. Peygamber'in sünneti doğrultusunda çözüm yolları önerilmiştir. Bunu gerçekleştirmek için; 'kişinin seviyesine göre davranma, çocuklara sevgi ve şefkatle yaklaşma, hoşgörü ve empati, sabırlı ve tahammüllü olma, problemlere karşı çözüm odaklı hareket etme, hataları affedici olma, yanlışları zaman kaybetmeden düzeltme ve dengeli disiplin gibi başlıklara yer verilmiştir. Çalışma, Hz. Peygamber'in sünnetinin çocuk eğitiminde önemli bir kaynak olduğunu; O'nun öğretilerinin ve uygulamalarının çocuk eğitimi hususunda ebeveynler başta olmak üzere ilgili tüm birimler için evrensel esaslar içerdiği ve rehber olabileceğini; inançlı, ahlâklı ve düzgün nesillerin yetişmesine katkı sağlayacağını göstermektedir. This thesis comprehensively examines the subject of child education within the framework of the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The study analyzes the initiation, scope, methods, and key aspects of education provided to children and youth as reflected in the Sunnah, one of the two primary sources of Islamic teachings. It also explores the influence and contributions of this educational approach to contemporary pedagogy. By identifying the fundamental concepts and principles of education as developed within the framework of the Prophet's Sunnah, the study offers recommendations compatible with modern educational systems. The research employs literature review and content analysis methods to examine child education in light of the Prophet's Sunnah. The thesis consists of four main chapters and a conclusion. The first chapter addresses the introduction, research topic, objectives, methodology, literature review, and fundamental concepts. The second chapter discusses social factors and key issues in child education. The t hird chapter focuses on children within the life and hadiths of the Prophet. The fourth chapter elaborates on the educational model of the Prophet Muhammad. In the conclusion, a general evaluation of the study is provided. Furthermore, the study proposes solutions to the challenges encountered in the process of child education by drawing from the Prophet's Sunnah. Key themes include acting according to the individual's level of understanding, approaching children with love and compassion, fostering tolerance and empathy, exercising patience and endurance, adopting a problem-solving mindset, practicing forgiveness, promptly correcting mistakes, and implementing balanced discipline. This research underscores the significance of the Prophet's Sunnah as a vital resource in child education. It demonstrates that the teachings and practices of the Prophet offer universal principles that can serve as guidance for parents and all relevant stakeholders, contributing to the upbringing of morally upright and well-rounded generations.
