İlhan Usmanbaş'ın Viyolonsel Eserlerinin Özellikleri

Abstract

Çalışmanın kapsamında İlhan Usmanbaş'ın piyanolu ve solo viyolonsel eserleri yer almaktadır. İcracılar için bir performans kılavuzu hazırlamak amacıyla yapılan araştırmanın verileri uzmanlarla görüşmeler ve yazışmalar yoluyla toplanmıştır. Uzman grubunda, aralarında Usmanbaş ile çalışmış öğretim üyeleri de bulunan besteci/teorisyenler ile eserleri seslendirmiş viyolonsel sanatçıları yer almaktadır. Kuramsal çerçevede Usmanbaş'ın yaşamı ve müziği konu edilmiş, bestecinin bazı ilham kaynaklarına ve besteleme tekniklerine değinilmiştir. Bulgularda yedi adet eser tek tek ele alınmış, eserin formu, teknik ve müzikal içeriği ile çalışma önerilerinden oluşan veriler tüm detaylarıyla paylaşılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda söz konusu eserlerden oluşan repertuvar seçkisinin 20. Yüzyıl müziğinin birçok evrensel ve yerel özelliklerini taşımasının yanı sıra, kullanılan viyolonsel tekniklerinin çeşitliliği ve müzikal içeriklerine bağlı olarak eserlerin seslendirilebilmesi bakımından konservatuvar müfredatlarına Lise son sınıftan, yüksek lisans düzeyine kadar geniş bir kapsamı olduğu saptanmıştır. Bu bağlamda söz konusu repertuvara konservatuvar müfredatlarında olduğu kadar anlatımlı dinletilerde ve konser programlarında da yer verilmesinin izleyici için bilgilendirici ve icracı için geliştirici yönlerine dikkat çekilmektedir.

The scope of the research is İlhan Usmanbaş's cello-piano and solo cello works. Aiming to prepare a performance guide for the performers, data were collected through interviews and correspondence with masters. The expert group includes composers / theorists, including faculty members who worked with Usmanbaş, and cello artists who recorded the works. In the theoretical framework, the life and music of Usmanbaş were discussed and some of the composer's inspiration and composing techniques were mentioned. In the findings, seven works were handled one by one, and the data consisting of the form, technical and musical content of the work, and suggestions on performance & practice were shared with all details. As a result of the research, it was determined that the selection of the repertoire consisting of these works has a very comprehensive music and cello school frame with respect to the variety and musical content of the cello techniques used, as well as the many universal and local characteristics of the 20th century music. In this context, attention is drawn to the informative, developmental and influential aspects of this repertoire to be included in the conservatory curricula for cello students and to be included in the narrated concerts and concert programs for cellists and audience
