Barok Resim Sanatından 'Light Art'a Uzanan Işık Kavramı

Abstract

Yirminci yüzyılda teknolojide, bilimde, düĢünce yapısındaki değiĢimler, görsel malzemelerin gittikçe fazlalaĢması ve çeĢitlenmesi sonucunda çevremize iliĢkin yargılarımız da değiĢime uğramaktadır. Bu geliĢen ve değiĢen ortamda, çağın koĢullarına ayak uydurabilen, etkin katılım sağlayabilen sanatçı ve sanat eğitimcilerine ihtiyaç duyulduğu bilinen bir gerçekliktir. Bu çalıĢmada sanat eğitimi alan bireylerin, bir sanat nesnesi olarak 'ıĢık' elemanının günümüz sanatında kullanım biçimleri hakkındaki bilgi eksikliği problemini gidermek amacı hedeflenmiĢtir. Bu tez çalıĢması, konuyla ilgili makaleler, dergiler ve kitaplardaki bilgilere ulaĢılarak, literatür tarama yöntemiyle elde edilen bilgilerle oluĢturulmuĢtur. Barok resim sanatı döneminden baĢlayarak, boya renklerinin olanakları ile elde edilen ıĢık yanılsamalarından, 'IĢık' elemanının, resim sanatı içinde her döneme ve sanatçıya göre farklı anlamlar yüklenerek izleyici karĢısına nasıl çıktığı tarihsel süreç içinde irdelenmiĢ ve günümüz modern sanatında, mekan içinde doğrudan aydınlatma aracı olarak kullanılan ıĢığın, sanat nesnesine nasıl dönüĢtüğü ele alınmıĢtır. Sanat eğitimi alan bireylerin, resim sanatında, görsel sanat elemanlarından olan ıĢığın, günümüzdeki kullanım biçimlerini öğrenmeleri ile algılarını zenginleĢtirmeleri, sanat alanındaki çalıĢmalarını çeĢitlendirmeleri açısından, ıĢık elemanının ne kadar önemli olduğu sonucuna varılmıĢtır. In the 20th century, our judgements about our environment have also been evolvingwith the results of changes in technology, in science, in mentality, the increase and variation of visual materials. In this developing and changing environment, it is a clear reality that we need both artists and art educators who are keep up with their age and have active partnership. In this work,it is aimed to fill the problem of knowledge deficiency about the ways of usage of 'the light' element as an art object in current art for the individuals who get art education. This thesis is prepared with the information which has been gathered by literature review method through reaching the information from the articles, issues, and books on the subject. Beginning from Baroque art painting period, 'the light' element which is one of the illusions of light that is created with the opportunities of paint colours was studied how it camein front of the viewers' eyesgaining different meanings in art according to the each period and artist during the historical time and it was discussed how the light which is used directly as an interior lighting equipment in current modern art turned into an art element. It is concluded how important the light element isfor the individuals who take art educationby learning the current usage of the light element which is one of the visual art objects in art paintingto enhance their perceptionand to vary their works in the field of art.
