The present study was conducted to investigate the comparative biometric relationship between fish size and otolith morphometrics in bogue, Boops boops collected from Aegean and Mediterranean Seas in T & uuml;rkiye. Linear and non-linear regression equations between otolith morphometrics and fish size were established in the fish samples of both the ecosystems. The values of "R2" of regression analysis between TL to otolith morphometrics (OL, OH, OP and OA) showed the positive relationships and all data were well fitted in the regression model where a greater degree of fit was recorded in the stocks of bogue fish in Aegean Sea and Mediterranean Sea. The highest correlations were observed between TL-OL and TL-OA, with both regression coefficients (R-2) reaching 0.765 to 0.900 in Aegean Sea Mediterranea Sea, respectively. In addition, all relationships were found statistically important (p < 0.001). The results obtained from this examination were the first to address the relationship between otolith measurements and total length for B.boops collected from Aegean Sea and Mediterranean Sea.en_US
