25,27-Bis(Acryloyloxy)-5,11,17,23-Tetra-Tert-Butyl-26,28-Dihydroxycalix[4]Arene

Abstract

The title compound, C50H60O6, is a new p-tert-butylcalix[4]arene derivative, adopting a 1,3-alternate conformation, with the complete mol-ecule generated by twofold rotation symmetry. In the crystal structure, the mol-ecules associate into layers in the ac plane. The three methyl groups of one tert-butyl group are disordered over two positions with site-occupancy factors approximately in the ratio 3:1. © International Union of Crystallography 2007.
