dc.description.abstractThe study aimed to investigate parents' internet addiction states on child-parent relationships and children's problematic media use. Descriptive and correlational type study was conducted in Turkey. Study was completed with 622 participants. Study revealed positive and moderate correlation between internet addiction scores of parents and children's problematic media use measure scores (p < 0.05). Positive and moderate correlation was found between scores of child-parent relationship scale and problematic media use measure of children (p < 0.05). As a result, parents' internet addiction and negative child-parent relationships affect children's problematic media use.en_US
