dc.description.abstractThe title compound, C<inf>16</inf>H<inf>12</inf>ClN<inf>3</inf>OS, is polymorphic. In the α form, a dihedral angle of 13.3 (1)° exists between the approximately planar phenylthiazolehydrazine unit and the 4-chlorophenol ring. Intramolecular O - H⋯N hydrogen bonds are formed, and intermolecular N - H⋯O and C -H⋯N interactions generate R <inf>2</inf>2(8) motifs that link the molecules into chains. © 2006 International Union of Crystallography All rights reserved.en_US
