Üstün Yetenekli Olan ve Olmayan Öğrencilerin Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Dersine Yönelik Tutumlarının Karşılaştırılması

Abstract

Amaç: Bu araştırma, üstün yetenekli olan ve olmayan öğrencilerin beden eğitimi ve spor dersine yönelik tutumlarının belirlenmesi için yapılmıştır. Materyal ve Methot: Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu Samsun'da T.C. Milli Eğitim Bakanlığı'na bağlı okullarda öğrenim gören 487 gönüllü (274 normal ve 213 Bilim Sanat Merkezleri'nde eğitim alan üstün yetenekli) öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Demirhan ve Altay tarafından geliştirilen 'Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Dersine Yönelik Tutum Ölçeği' kullanılmıştır. Öğrenciler arasındaki farklılığı belirlemek için bağımsız T-testi kullanılmıştır. Veriler yüzde frekans, minimum, maksimum, ortalama, standart sapma olarak sunulmuştur. Bulgular: Araştırmanın sonuçlarına göre, Üstün yetenekliler (ÜYÖ) ve olmayanlar (NÖ) (p=0,04) ve spor yapan ile yapmayan öğrencilerin birbirleri arasında beden eğitimi ve spor dersine yönelik genel tutumları (BESDYT) bakımından istatistiksel bir anlamlı farklılık (p<0,01) tespit edilirken diğer değişkenlerde ise farklılığa rastlanmamıştır (p>0,05). Sonuç: Sonuç olarak üstün yetenekli olan öğrencilerin beden eğitimi ve spor dersine yönelik normal öğrencilere göre daha olumlu tutuma sahip oldukları, öğrencilerin cinsiyet ve yaşlarına göre beden eğitimi ve spor dersine yönelik tutumlarında anlamlı bir farklılığın olmadığı (p>0,05), beden eğitimi ve spor dersi dışında spor ile ilgilenen öğrencilerin beden eğitimi ve spor dersine yönelik tutumlarının daha yüksek olduğu ve ailesinde sporla ilgilenen birisinin olup olmama durumlarının üstün yetenekli olan ve olmayan öğrencilerin beden eğitimi ve spor dersine yönelik tutumlarını etkilemediği görülmektedir. Anahtar Kelimeler: Beden eğitimi ve Spor dersi; Özel yetenek; TutumAim of the Study: The aim of this study is to determine the attitudes of gifted and non-gifted students towards physcial education and sports course. Methodology:In this research, general survey model was used. Study group consisted of 487 volunteer students in which 227 of them are student with normal development from schools in Samsun and 213 of them are gifted students receiving education at Science and Art Centers. 'Attitude Scale towards Physical Education and Sports Course' developed by Demirhan and Altay was used as data collection tool in this research. In data analysis, frequency and percentage were used and interpretted when explaining the demographic information. Mean, standard deviation (S), minimum and maximum values and Independent t-test were used in explaining the scale items. Results: Attitudes of gifted and non-gifted students towards physical education and sports course were located in 'Very High' = 3,93ranges.A significant difference was observed between attitudes of gifted and non-gifted students towards physical education and sports course (t=4.616, p<0.05). Conclusion: It is seen that gifted and non-gifted students have very positive attitudes towards physical education and sports course. In addition, it was revealed that gifted students have more positive attitudes towards physical education and sports lecture compared to non-gifted students. Results showed that there is no significant difference between attitudes of gifted and non-gifted students towards physical education and sports course based on their gender and ages. Students who are interested in sports except physical education and sports course have more positive attitudes towards this course. Keywords: Physical education and sports course; Talent; Attitude.
