Publication: Okul Yöneticilerinin Etik Davranışlarının Öğretmenlerin Örgütsel Bağlılığına Etkisi: Ordu İli Örneği
Abstract
Bu araştırmanın amacı, okul yöneticilerinin etik davranışları ile öğretmenlerin örgütsel bağlılığı arasında bir ilişki olup olmadığının Ordu ili örneğinde incelenmesidir. Araştırma ile öğretmenlerin cinsiyet, yaş, mesleki kıdem, öğretmenlik alanı, lisansüstü eğitim durumu, kurum türü ve meslek sevgisi değişkenine göre okul yöneticilerinin etik liderlik davranış düzeyleri ile öğretmenlerin örgütsel bağlılık davranışları arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olup olmadığı ortaya koyulmaya çalışılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu 2021-2022 eğitim öğretim yılında Ordu ilindeki okullarda görev yapan 11164 öğretmeni temsilen rastgele örneklem metodu ile seçilen 503 öğretmen oluşturmuştur. Örneklemi oluşturan katılımcılara 'Demografik Bilgi Formu', Yılmaz (2005) tarafından geliştirilen dört boyutu kapsayan ve toplam 44 soruluk, 5 dereceli likert tipi 'Etik Liderlik Ölçeği - ELÖ' ve Balay (2000) tarafından geliştirilen üç boyutu kapsayan ve toplam 27 soruluk 5 dereceli likert tipi 'Örgütsel Bağlılık Ölçeği - ÖBÖ' uygulanmıştır. Araştırma, nicel araştırma modelleri içerisinde yer alan ilişkisel tarama modeli yöntemi kullanılarak yürütülmüştür. Örneklem grubunun demografik verileriyle ilgili dağılım frekans analizi ile incelenmiştir. Verileri analiz etmek için tek yönlü varyans analizi, tukey testi, Student t Testi kullanılmıştır. Ölçekler arasındaki ilişki de Pearson Korelasyon katsayısı ile incelenmiştir. Analizler; ELÖ'de %97, ÖBÖ'de %92 güven düzeyinde SPSS 22.0 V istatistik paket programında çözümlenmiştir. Araştırmada elde edilen verilerin analizi sonucunda okul yöneticilerinin etik davranışlarının öğretmenlerin örgütsel bağlılığına etkisinin orta düzeyde anlamlı pozitif bir ilişkide olduğu belirlenmiştir. Regresyon analiz sonucuna göre de okul yöneticilerinin etik liderlik davranışları gösterme düzeyleri, öğretmenlerin örgütsel bağlılık düzeylerini istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir şekilde açıklamaktadır. Okul yöneticilerinin etik liderlik tutum ve davranışlarını gösterme düzeyi arttıkça öğretmenlerin örgütsel bağlılıkları artmaktadır. The aim of the study is to examine whether there is a relationship between the ethical attitudes of school administrators and the organizational commitment of teachers throughout Ordu Province. With the research, it was tried to reveal whether there is a significant relationship between the ethical leadership behavior levels of school administrators and teachers' organizational commitment behaviors according to the variables of gender, age, professional seniority, teaching field, graduate education status, type of institution and I love my profession. The study group of the research consisted of 503 teachers selected by random sampling method representing 11164 teachers working in schools in Ordu in the 2021-2022 academic year. The participants who formed the sample were given the 'Demographic Information Form', a 5-point Likert-type 'Ethical Leadership Scale' with 44 questions, including 4 dimensions, developed by Yılmaz (2005), and a total of 27, including 3 dimensions developed by Balay (2000). A 5-point Likert-type 'Organizational Commitment Scale' was applied. The research was conducted using the relational screening model method, which is one of the quantitative research models. The distribution of the demographic data of the sample group was analyzed by frequency analysis. One-way analysis of variance, tukey test and Student's t-test were used to analyze the data. Pearson correlation coefficient was used to determine the relationship between the scales. The data were analyzed in the SPSS 22.0 V statistical package program with a confidence level of 97% in the Ethical Leadership Scale and 92% in the Organizational Commitment Scale. As a result of the analysis of the data obtained in the research, it was determined that the effect of the ethical attitudes of school administrators on the organizational commitment of the teachers had a moderately significant positive relationship. According to the results of the regression analysis, the level of school administrators showing ethical leadership behaviors explains the organizational commitment levels of teachers in a statistically significant way. As the level of ethical leadership attitudes and behaviors of school administrators increases, teachers' commitment to the school increases.
