Abstract
The structure of the title compound, C<inf>14</inf>H<inf>12</inf>N <inf>2</inf>O<inf>3</inf>, determined at room temperature, shows that the molecule is approximately planar in the solid state, as found for other diazene (azobenzene) derivatives.
