| dc.description.abstract | Metal-free and metallo-phthalocyanines (M = Cu, Ni, Co, Zn) carrying four N-(n-octyl)mercapto acetamide group on peripheral positions have been synthesized from the corresponding phthalonitrile derivatives in the presence or the absence of anhydrous metal salt (CuCl, NiCl<inf>2</inf>, CoCI<inf>2</inf>, Zn(CH<inf>3</inf>COO)<inf>2</inf>).
