Cinsel Kimlik Gelişiminde Din Eğitiminin Rolü

Abstract

Cinsellik konusu tarihten beri tüm toplumlar için gizemli bir konu olmuş ve çoğu zaman bu konuda konuşmaya, yazıp çizmeye karşı olumsuz bir tavır sergilenmiştir. Gelişen toplumumuzda bu durum hala devam etmektedir. Ne var ki insan hayatının en temel ve yadsınamaz gerçeklerinden biri cinsellik konusudur.Bireyin cinsel gelişimi ve cinsel kimliğe sahip olma sürecini açıklamaya çalışan pek çok teori bulunmaktadır. Bu teoriler cinsel gelişim sürecini genellikle tek yönlü, örneğin biyolojik veya psikolojik yönden açıklamaya çalışmaktadırlar. Kimlik gelişimine etki eden pek çok faktör mevcuttur. Bu yüzden cinsel kimlik gelişim süreci biyo-psiko-sosyal bir süreçtir. Bu süreçlerin sağlıklı geçirilmesi bireyin davranış şekillerini ve tüm yaşamını etkilemektedir.İnsan yaşamında böyle etkin bir rol oynayan cinsel hayat ve bunun eğitimi konusunda İslam dini, önemle durmakta ve cinsel eğitimin göz ardı edilmesini hoş karşılamamaktadır. Doğru bilgiye ve kanaate ulaşmayı teşvik etmekte, bu noktada utanmaya mahal vermemektedir. Özellikle çocuk ve gençlerin sağlıklı bir cinsel kimliğe kavuşmasını hedefleyen dinimiz, bu noktada ilke ve prensipler benimseyerek birtakım önleyici ve koruyucu tedbirlere yer vermektedir.İşte bu çalışmada, öncelikle cinsel kimlik gelişiminin çağdaş psikolojik ve pedagojik yönü ele alınmış, ardından da ayet ve hadisler ışığında İslam'ın cinsel kimlik konusundaki yaklaşımı ortaya konulmaya çalışılmıştır.

Sexuality matter has been a mysterious subject and a negative attitude has been developed towards talking and writing about this matter for all societies through the history. This attitude has still continued in our developing society. However, it is very basic and one of the undeniable truths in life of people.There are many theories which try to define the sexual development and the process of sexual identity of individual. However, many of those theories mostly explain the process of sexual development in one point of view such as psychological or biological aspect. There are many factors affecting on the development of sexual identity. Therefore, the development of sexual identity is a process of bio-psych and social process. A healthy process of sexual identity development affects on the behavioral styles and the whole life of people.Islam gives a great importance on the sexual life and its education which play a great role in the life of people and does not approve to ignore sex education. Islam encourages the sound knowledge and attitude towards sex education and does not give permission to be ashamed in this matter. It gives a priority especially to teach children and youth about this matter and sets forth some principles and protective precautions.This study examines some contemporary psychological and pedagogical aspects of the development of sexual identity and deals with the issue of sexual identity in light of the Qur'anic verses and hadiths.
